Nightmare Car Rental

For a company trip, my company rented a car for a week. Everything started off well, the woman at the counter was very helpful and friendly. I headed off the garage to pick up a car. This is where I encountered the first signs of trouble. It took about 10 minutes for them to enter the car I was renting and I was the only one in line.

The car handled a bit odd, so I checked it out at a gas station. All of the tires needed air? You would think the company would check this from time to time.

At the end of the week I turned the car back in and waited with about 10 other pissed customers as the employees wrestled with their computer system. It took me about 30 minutes to turn the car in and I was beginning to get worried that time would be tight for me to get through security and onto my flight.

Fast forward several days and I noticed that the entire rental amount was charged to my personal credit card. The company has an account with National Car Rental and the bill was supposed to go to the company. It took many emails to sort everything out and they did take the charge off my credit card. That said - who has time to deal with this kind of nonsense?
