Scammed by Apex Exterior Contractors

Brian Robinson came to our house and we signed a contract for snowplowing for $200 which included shoveling the walk. He gave us a copy of his drivers license to show he was not a scam artist and talked to us about his storage facility on Despatch Dr in East Rochester where he stores his extra equipment.

He stated he had recently purchased a Bobcat to assist in doing extra work for customers. He also stated that his company does roof work, deck and fence construction and landscaping. We found his ad on "Thumbtack", so we assumed he was a legitimate business and had been checked out by them. Be aware, they are only an advertising company.

His truck had a company logo on it and he was carrying equipment in the back. We thought we were dealing with a reputable company but, you never know.
