The female who answers the phone and schedules appointments is flat out RUDE. Her very TONE of voice says "I do not care and I am too busy to be gracious." If you cannot make the first time she offers, she tells you they can't be there for another 10-14 days (that happened twice to me, out of the 2 times my warranty company had me use them). The first time, I declined the 10-days-later appointment for a new garbage disposal and requested another company - which beat them all to *** for customer service. Now, this second experience: APC tech came out to look at my broken water heater on a Wednesday. The tech laughed in my face when I expressed my disappointment that it would take "days" to get the approval for a new water heater. Two days later, Friday, I called to check the status as they had not called me. Ms. Rude told me they had not heard anything from warranty company. I called the warranty company (which is no fun in itself) only to learn that APC Plumbing had not yet submitted the request to my warranty company! I called APC back to ask why, and Ms. Rude told me they had indeed submitted something. I called warranty company AGAIN, and was put on hold while she contacted APC Plumbing herself- becasue APC HAD NOT given them ANYTHING to approve to get me a water heater. The warranty rep came back on to tell me that PAC was just now on the phone, on hold, trying to get the authorization SUBMITTED, which would then be 24-48 hours turn around time for approval. It is the weekend, I say, and I do not in any event want APC to step foot into my home ever again. I told the warranty lady about my experiences with Ms. Rude, and how a 2nd company was sent out on the previous work order. She admitted that Ms. Rude was also...well, RUDE to her also, and allowed me to switch companies. Even if I have to wait another week I will not use PAC Plumbing EVER EVER AGAIN and I pity the poor fools who put up with their rude service, poor work ethics and lack of administrative ability. Less than 1 minute after disconnecting with warranty, the 2nd plumbing company called me to schedule a visit...for when? FOR TODAY before 6pm. Take that and shove it APC Plumbing.
