My over all experience with Antwerpen Nissan sales person and sales manager was disappointing. I did my home work, I knew the vehicle I wanted, I test drove four vehicles prior to coming to the Security location.
I was pre-approved by my credit union prior to selecting the vehicle. At my first visit I drove the 2015 Nissan Pathfinder SL, I pointed out large noticeable scratches on the drivers side door, dent on the passenger side back door and a loud noise under the hood. My sales person was very friendly and guaranteed that everything would be taken care of. On returning to finalized the deal the sales person was not there.
The large scratch on the driver side door and the dent on the passenger back door was not repaired. I was given one car key and I ask for the second key. I was told to bring the car back for the repair and the sales person had the other key and I will receive it when I come back. I returned once again across town and the sales person was not there, I called Scott, he said he will contact the previous owners to get the key or get a key made at his expense at a reduce price.
The sales person called me and said the key would be left at the service desk to bring the car and it will be programmed. Not once did he say I had to pay for the key. I drove all the way across town, the key was programmed.The sales manager wanted me to pay $200.00 for the key. This was not right I thought I came to a reputable car dealer, when a vehicle is sold two keys comes with the vehicle I purchased many cars and never had I been given a single key and told I had to pay for the other one.
I have never been treated that way after a sale has been made. They made the sale but left an unhappy customer.

Slow to follow through on minor issues. Like touch up paint for scratches and, dents.
Did not provide something as basic as a second key for my vehicle.
Wanted to change me $200 for a key that should have come with the
Vehicle.

Well worth contacting them
COMPLIMENT !! For several weeks I was new car shopping.
This involved at least 8 physical visits to varied dealerships. These visits encompassed many varied purchase tactics. It turned out to be very time consuming, frustrating and not successful endeavors. THEN - I contacted Antwerpen Security Nissan AND THAT ALL CHANGED !
From the outset these dealership personnel were very upfront and direct about vehicles prices and sales discount incentive programs. I then got significant / satisfactory trade in offer along with great financing. Scott S., the sales manager, was very upfront honorable and no nonsense about getting significant discounts off the original vehicle sticker prices. This was followed up by a excellent trade in credit amount and great financing options.
Rodney M., in sales, was another gentleman and a pleasure to deal with ! There were no games (extended check with the manager, etc.). ALSO, Nissan offered several great discount incentives that no other deals offered. Scott S.
and Rodney M. made it a GREAT NO NONSENSE EXPERIENCE towards our new car purchase ! It was handled well. So much so it that restored my faith in how to purchase a new car !
I’ve had our Nissan Rogue l, for several weeks, and love it’s handling, safety car options and other aspects of this Nissan. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND Antwerpen Security Nissan to family and friends ! I can think of no higher praise for a car dealership !

Horrible Customer Service
My wife went in to purchase a Murano, she was pre-approved, has excellent credit, and knew precisely what she wanted her out the door price to be, and believed things would go easily. After she signed the contract and the salesperson (who was excellent) Taylor was showing her some of the basic functions of the vehicle, I noticed that the owner’s manual was missing from the glove box.
We informed John Madden who made promises and that the manual was at the other location. He told me to "come in next week" to pick it up and it wasn't there. I informed him that I work in DC and made the trip there for absolutely nothing, this was after I stood there patiently waiting for him for almost 30 minutes. After promising to "call me" in which he never did.
We reached out to Dave Antwerpen who was the ultimate professional and had the manual delivered to the house. In my opinion, this was by far one of the worst car buying experiences in my lifetime!

I got a beautiful 2014 Nissan Altima. Thank you for your professionalism.Very pleased.
Purchased 2012 Nissan Sentra defective rotors
On 8/19/15 I purchased a 2012 Nissan Sentra from Antwerpen Nissan located at 1701 Woodlawn Drive, Baltimore, MDand they sold me the car with defective rotors. They checked the car and said the rotors and the brakes needed to be replaced.
Took the car back to them 9/14/15 and they told me my warranty expired already and I would have to pay for the repair. The warranty says 30 days/1,000 miles POWERTRAIN only. There was no inspection of the vehicle, until I called MVA and a Vehicle Safety Inspector came out and had them inspect the car and suddenly a inspection pops up for the vehicle dated 5/8/15. Where did it come from, how did the car pass inspection.
The service Manager was so rude, because he got caught. The customer service in that place should alone shut them down

Purchase 2012 Nissan Sentra with faulty rotors and brakes
On 8/19/15 I purchased a 2012 Nissan Sentra from Antwerpen Nissan the w car was never MVA inspected and they knowingly sold me this car with warped rotors. They knew what they did because the salesman was afraid to test drive with me.
He knew if this car went over 45 mph it would grind, shake and make loud sounds. The sales manager and the service manager also knew. They preyed on a black, single, senior woman coming into their dealership and they would get over. "RIGHT CHURCH, WRONG DAM PEW".
They know they were committing fraud and they continued.
Untrustworthty salesmanager
manager at security nissan made agreement to make repairs to my car. when time came to do the repairs i was lied to and told agreement was never made.i had to contact the corperate office to finally get the agreeded repairs done.i was told a lie from someone i trusted in authority toget me to make a sale.the manager at security nissan is not trust worthy .he will not hisitate to lie!!!!! no mtter how nice a person is,always get agreement in writing.i wasnever more humiliated in my life.
thankfully every thing worked out whew.
