- Bought AT-415B hoping for more channels.
- No extra channels; picture froze and pixelated; rep said omni-directional antennas perform worse.
It is now March 30th and I still have received no word from Antop. I don't suspect I ever will. I will never deal with this company again and I strongly urge anyone else to stay away from this company
I purchased a UFO Dual-Omni Smartpass Amplified HDTV antenna model AT-415B from this company to replace a cheaper thirty five dollar antenna. I was expecting, according to the manufacturers claims, to receive more channels and a clearer picture.
I didn't receive any more channels than the cheaper antenna and the channels that I did receive froze and pixelated constantly.
I called Antop and spoke with a rep (Mike) and was told that omni directional antennas will not pick up signals as well as directional antennas. I responded " so I just wasted one hundred dollars" and he said " sorry, have a nice day".
