This is a brand new restaurant came in Green Street opposite to another bad restaurant Abiruchi. As Abiruchi serves bad food, I always have to drive a mile to Oak Tree road for Karaikudi Chettinad or Dakshin Express to eat good South Indian Non-veg food, so I was badly looking for this new restaurant to open. But I was too disappointed with my experience today with this Anjappar Express. For this takeout place, the prices are way higher. My husband went inside and ordered few stuff, and wanted to dine in. The owner type guy with Spectacle said that though we have tables here we prefer our customers to takeout, very rude. The chicken masala, was not at all anything to do Chettinad, the $12.99 expensive briyani had no taste, $13.95 Mutton Sukka was bland and they did not even bother to heat the stuff. Forget the food, Service is very bad. The person at the front is not friendly. There is no value for the money with the food as well as service. Good Chettinad/South Food, go to Karaikudi Chettinad or Dakshin Express. Dakin Express is fresh and tasty food. We are very much disappointed by this place. Bottom-line is Better to Stay away fro this Franchise Anjappar Express Junk

In India also they are Cheating only, They charge more money but they return taste less, quantity less food.
The food here no good, very bad. I notice many funny things going on.
Lots of but bongo, crack filling and panty snagging. Try the veal it is the best in the city.
one saturday evening i was not feeling well n we planned to take out food from anjappar express... but it turned a very bad dinner like a left over chicken sauce with very few, small chopped chicken pieces..
wen we called for it they asked us to bring it back for replacement.. for which we have to drive 5 miles in that night... awesomely bad... never go for a take out food from anjappar express..
if u hav no other way...
open it and check it whether everything is good.... cheaters will never forget to cheat their own country people even in a different country...
ANjappar Express really sucks. They literally cheated us. We ordered for Anjapar Chicken Masala but it was awesomely bad. They put five to six very small chunks of chicken and charged
11 dollars. It was worthless piece of ***.

I sincerely recommend south indian junta to try out other restaurants in Edison area but
dont go this *** up place. Anjappars in Jersey are not fit to run restaurants. Better they *** to India

very less quantity and way expesive items. if your dad is ambani or maran or Mallya, then also don't go here, because old gravy ...emathathe anna eemathathe....thirudara kootam thirudikitte irru..
Me and Race Banyan were playing but bongo over a dish of rice when some guy named Baboo lept across the table and swallowed the chowder.
I am fine , no longer swimming in curry. First SSI check sent to my PO Box.

I went there with my brother Baboo. He went to the mens room and never came back.
Next thing I know people at next table find Baboo's ring in dish of red curry.

Agree, food sucks..I am from tamil nadu..I know how chettinand food tastes..not only food sucks..quantity is very less..prices very expensive and on top of that ppl think they are doing big favor by giving low quality food for ridiculous prices..if u want chettinand eat in karaikudi or make at home..lol
