DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.They will overcharge you let your animals suffer,act courteous and professional when needed even disregard animal cruelty laws do to loopholes in those laws.pennsylvania has lax laws regarding animal cruelty when veterinarians are involved.Dr joe valese and staff are obviously very aware of how much abuse they can get away with and make serious profits at animals suffering and peril.read prior complaints that go back years.they are all about money,they will let your pets die,rude and no compassion.Wish i had read these complaints prior to my animals awful experiences.buyer beware.

- - Emergency admission near closing time (Sat 12:00).
- - Charged $400 to bandage the dog's foot; unfriendly staff; two days later $40 for a better bandage.
Animal Hospital of Mount used our emergency situation we had with our dog while on vacation in Poconos. They reluctantly admitted us, since we got there at almost their closing time, which was 12:00 pm on Saturday.
Unpleasant vet charged us over $400 to put a bandage on the foot of our bleeding dog. Extremely unfriendly staff.
When went back two days after to our regular vet, we were charged $40 for a bandage which was 300% better in quality and protection against getting wet and being torn by dog's teeth.
We feel used and overcharged. Be aware of this hospital!
