Cabo General dentist Dr Rosa Pena of Los Cabos has been married to David Mandich since 9/8/2001. Dr Pena's husband David Mandich started Angels Touch Dental Clinic employing his general dentist wife Dr. Pena and specialists. The dental specialists were employed because Dr Pena a general dentist is trained and licensed to clean, drill, fill and pull teeth as a general dentist and not certified to perform specialist procedures.
Due to Dr Pena's degenerative schizophrenia husband David Mandich and the specialists left Dr. Pena. Angels Touch dental clinic was subsequently hijacked by a former time share salesman Enrique Ilitzsky who took advantage of Mr. Mandich's mentally unstable and emotionally vulnerable wife. He began a campaign to defame Mandich and other dental competitors in Los Cabos. The sick Mr. Ilitzsky even arranged a bogus Jewish wedding for himself and Dr Rosa Pena in 2010 - and in late 2011 sent a fake divorce document to Mandich dated 11/2011.
Mr. Iltizsky is now frauding patients by promoting general dentist Dr Pena as a specialist for dental implants, cosmetic dentistry and dental makeovers. Dr Pena is not now and never has been a specialist which is why we hired specialists at Angels Touch to do this work in the past. Any specialist work that Dr Pena does on a patient will be at the patient's risk with the unqualified general dentist Dr. Pena learning at the patient's expense.

Los Cabos general dentist Dr Pena and her time share boyfriend manager Enrique Ilitzsky advertise for dental implant and cosmetic dentistry and it turns out Dr Rosa Pena is not formally trained or certified for any dental specialty. Los Cabos dentist Dr Rosa Pena of Cabo Soft Dental Care, aka Angels Dental .com, never attended a university specialist's school, has never belonged to any specialist board or received any advanced dental association certification for oral surgery, dental implants, periodontics, endodontics yet she attempts these advanced dental procedures on unsuspecting patients.
Los Cabos dentist Dr Rosa Pena is only a general dentist with basic education in dental hygeine, drilling, filling and normal extractions.

Cabo Dental Vacation Surprise Arrest of Dr. Rosa Pena of Cabo Soft Dental Care (Angels Touch Dental)
- - Eight implants and related work allegedly failed.
- - Crowns were heavy and caused a lisp.
- - Cost about $17,000; more grafts and surgeries were needed.
Cabo Dental Vacation with Dr. Rosa Pena of Cabo Soft Dental Care (the former Angels Touch Dental Clinic, Angels Dental) ordered arrested by Cabo judge after refusing to answer to criminal charges.
I sought treatment at Cabo Soft Dental Care by Dr. Rosa Pena in late 2010, because I had read terrific testimonials on the internet. Little did I know that when those were written – Dr. Rosa Pena (who is only a general dentist) had specialists doing most of her work and they no longer worked there leaving her to attempt specialist's work such as implants and surgeries on her own.
Dr. Pena gave me 8 dental implants and some fillings. I was told to come back in Oct. 2011 to finish putting in bridges with crowns for a brand new smile with implants instead of dentures.
Then things got UGLY. I spent 3 weeks in Cabo instead of one as they promised me- fixing and doing work. She destroyed my smile. Dr. Rosa Pena attempted to get me to return home in the states with a flat block of teeth in my front upper jaw after having been there for two weeks already, and asking me to return in 6 months when they would get a new set of bridges for my jaw after healing. I decided to stay after much complaining and e-mail writing on my part to the office.
When I returned home I realized just what an awful job they did. Instead of putting the implants in to go along my natural jaw line, she pointed them inward towards the roof of his mouth. Dr. Rosa Pena successfully minimized my teeth by a quarter to at least half an inch. The crowns and bridges are so heavy and thick I have a permanent lisp and have difficulty placing my tongue on the roof of my mouth.
This Cabo Dental Soft Care dental adventure cost me $17,000 plus accommodations, airfare, and food. This Cabo dental vacation had become a vacation to dental ***.
Back in the US, my dentist there told me that 6 of the 8 implants need to come out because they were not grounded in bone but the GUM tissue instead. Needed also were bone grafts, and new bridges with crowns as the implants were set improperly and had to come out. What an outrageous waste of time and money!
Some time after the items were set in my mouth by Dr. Pena my front teeth fell out because the bridge simply came loose because of poor cement. One of my back molar crowns also broke.
I now have a new bill for $23,000 (Twenty three thousand dollars), plus endless surgeries and bone grafts to attempt to correct the damage in the US caused by this dentist. US dentists have given me a "fair to good" prognosis, but there is no guarantee that the bone grafts will take. I could be wearing dentures in the near future if the corrections don't work.
I'll be 50 years old in November. Further research online has informed me that Cabo Soft Dental Care used to be called Angels Touch Dental Clinic and that after losing a lawsuit, Dr. Pena reputedly changed the business name to avoid judgements.
Dr. Pena has also been accused of frauding patients and criminal charges have been filed by the Cabo district attorney. She is a general dentist preying on innocent dental tourist patients and should not be doing surgery or implants. I guess I won't be getting any of my money back from these crooks anytime soon.

For many years, Dr. Pena's Angel's Touch Dental Clinic was well known and well regarded in San Jose del Cabo.
In August 2010, David Mandich arranged a trade with my former employer for online advertising for the Angel's Touch Dental Clinic. When I called the phone number to make an appointment with Dr. Pena, I was told that they didn't know who she was but was encouraged to make an appointment with another dentist.
I thought that was extremely odd. I did eventually find her phone number and received excellent service.

Interesting posts. Personal problems aside, ALL these procedures are performed legally in America by general dentists.
It is implied here that these skills are not taught to general dentists in mexico and require separate training and licensure. hmmmmmm
