Cheap dresses made as cheap as possible in China!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Andrew Adela dresses are very poor quality dresses and made as cheap as possible. In fact, a year ago they switched to an even cheaper Chinese plant to increase their margin.

The company has no quality control and some of the dresses are made way to small and others are made to large. Their sales reps will tell you they can customize the dress for you but then the "off the shelf" dress arrives and you are told you must pay for the alterations.

My daughter wore an Andrew Adela dress to a wedding and the dress literally fell apart while she was walking down the aisle. Buy a quality dress and stay away from Andrew Adela.

Andrew Adela dresses are terrible BEWARE

Brides and Bridesmaids, BEWARE, Andrew Adela is an inexperienced designer in the middle of nowhere in Alabama. All the dresses are made in China with no quality control.

Sizes are 3 inches off on average and it is debatable if they do this on purpose or not to make more money for the bridal shops in overpriced alterations.

All dresses run 3 sizes too small, better just to stay away and go with an experienced designer. I ordered a dress 4 sizes larger than I normally wear and it was way to small, they tried to blame my seamstress, everything under the sun but take responsibility for their issues.

I loved my Andrew Adela dress and works choose our again over and over again. It fit my exact size, fit true to size, right off the rack.

It needed absolutely NO adjustments or alterations, leading me to believe that those who receive dresses "3 sizes too small" are ordering from a knock-off company.

The materials of my dress were of amazing quality . Nothing but kudos and compliments for Andrew Adela for me and my wedding party!

I was auto-corrected....it should read "I would choose it over and over again"

I ordered an Andrew Adela dress from their Ambiance collection and the dress is exquisite and very well made. It's made with satin and flows beautifully and yes it does run 3 sizes too small.

My daughter picked another brand for her bridesmaid's dresses and they also run 3 sizes too small, but it's not a big deal. You just check out their size chart and order accordingly.

There may always be alterations one has to make to their dress anyway because not all of them are going to be a perfect fit. Overall, however, the fit is perfect.

Sorry, but several of the comments here have no standards or taste. These are made in China, poor quality, unpredictable dresses.

I am sure they overcharged you for children's dresses that don't need fittings.

I understand the business is to make extra money for bridal shops with multiple fittings and this dress company is surely out to do this!!!!!!! Miss 40 years in the bridal business, I am sure you have enjoyed making extra money off the POOR sizings of these dresses.

We just purchased 5 Andrew Adela bridesmaids dresses and 2 jr. bridesmaids dresses from their children's line.

They are exquisite.

All had to be hemmed, but they are very well made. I am a sewing teacher and am very pleased.

I just bought my wedding dress, an Andrew Adela - and it is absolutely perfect - it was purchased in the exact street size that I wear & fits like a glove! It is made of exquisite, high-quality fabric and honestly looks like it was tailor-made to my measurements.

I am EXTREMELY satisfied with my Adela and this is after trying on Vera, Alfred and the rest!

It is obvious that you have no knowledge bridesmaids dresses and how they are made. This company produces the highest quality gowns with excellent quality control.

If you complaint about sizes then you should check out the size chart closely. They cut to match their size chart. I don't know who sized your party or were they ordered online.

If so that is very foolish.

I am the owner of a bridal shop that carries Andrew Adela. Not only are the dresses of top quality, but they offer the fastest delivery of any company I carry.

My clients love their designs.

I love the way they strive to please me and my customer. I would gladly recommend them to anyone!

I don't agree with the dress being 3 sizes too small in fact its the opposite. I ordered a dress for a wedding and the lady I bought the dress from did my meausrements and ordered my dress and when I took it in for alterations the guy told me my dress was 2 sizes too big and they are having to take 3 inches in on the sides...this is a load of *** and the alternations just for the top being the three inches costs more than I paid for the dress. Their dresses are *** and im disputing this immediately with the dress shop and credit card company!

I purchased an Andrew Adela dress for my daughter's wedding. I was thrilled with the dress:) So was everyone else at the event.

The dress was gorgeous and required NO alterations. I requested a matching shawl and received it within 2 weeks for a minimal cost. I followed the guideline for fitting.

It was perfect. I would recommend the line to any bride, bridesmaid, or mother of the bride.

I ordered an Andrew Adela brides maids dress for y best friends wedding, and not only did I love it, but so did everyone else. The dress fit perfectly and I had no problems with it.

I own a bridal store and have carried Andrew Adela from the start of their company. I love their dresses and their service.

The designer/owner of Andrew Adela decided to relocate her business to Alabama from the east coast for family and economic reasons. She has been in the industry for more than 30 years. I hate to tell you ladies BUT you would be hard pressed to find any bridesmaid dress that is not made in China. Andrew Adela owns their own factory there so they have control and standards.

Most formal wear for ladies is sized by international sizing. You cannot order the size you normally wear in street clothing and expect it to fit. Nor can you order from a designer's size chart and expect it to fit perfectly. Alterations are almost always needed.

When you order a dress, you have to go by your largest measurement and where you fit in the size chart.

For example, if you have wide hips and a narrow bodice, then you will have to order for your hips and have the bodice altered down. My guess is that you either order what you normally wear or you were measured and sized incorrectly by the bridal shop.

I work at a bridal store and we carry Andrew Adela and we've recently had a lot of brides start ordering their designs and we haven't had one problem yet. I myself as a bride am ordering his dresses I love them!! As far as sizing goes they run smaller because they are international sizing (as much of the bridal industry minus David's Bridal is!) Sorry to hear your experience wasn't wonderful but brides don't believe all the hype there is good and bad to all companys.

I had the same issue, made me feel terrible!
