2004 nissan maxima
- - Left side clack and road noise over bumps; friend has the same issue.

I am hearing a Road noise. At the left side of my car I hear a noise ("Clack").
I changed both front links now and 2 years ago at the dealer they changed the front shock absorbers.But about 2 month ago I am hearing that every time I pass a velocity reductor in one street or a little hole in the road I hear the "clack". Can you help me?
Two different mechanics check my car and said to me thant every thing is OK in the suspension of my car. A friend of mine that had the same car said to me that he has the same problem

Make sure you have your axels checked. My son was driving on the freeway & the rear axel broke.
He was lucky he was not hurt he went off the road on grass & dirt. I contacted Nissan North America Customer Service, Exec. Team & Regional Div. but, I was told that my warranty had expired which I knew & they could not do anything to help they insist it was due to some sort of impact, which was not due to an impact.
They do not care of us the consumers or our safety I asked if they could test the axel to see why it snapped to prevent accidents & to look at the pictures so they can see that the car has no impact marks at the front. That would be the 1st area where damage would take place . when I asked for an email address I was told by the rep. that she did not have a email.
I asked why did they not want to look at the axel or pictures, I did not get an answer. Everyone at a big corp. has an email but, it was clear that they are not concerned. I was also told by the customer service rep.
to go ahead & report it to the NHTSA. I hope you can get your issues with your car resolved good luck
