I took 4 chairs to get recained. They are over 200 years old and were in fantastic shape because I had them refinished and recained after receiving them from my Mom. I explained I want them recained excactly like they are. I paid $200 for down payment. A couple weeks go by and I get a phone call they are done. I get them home and look at them and they are not exactly like before, they rounded the corners and filled them with black putty. This is not what I expected nor what I wanted. The putty was coming off on my fingers , there are scuff marks on the chairs that werent there before. I called the company, and left a message. Gail called me back after I sent her a text picture of the putty in my fingers. Exactly how can I use these chairs if the black putty is coming off? She offers to send me something to paint over the putty and $50 for my time. That was not what I wanted. I asked for two things: One, repair the chairs like how I brought them to you , or refund my money. I am so disappointed in them, all they had to do is give me a phone call and say, this isn't like the same as you brought them in. I would have gone there got my chairs and left . Understanding the $200 was spent on the canning. But no one phoned me. They will not make this right or give me my money back. I want everyone to know this company is not reputable. They do a *** job ! And will not work with me to fix their mistakes.
