Anchor and Eat - The merchant you advertised on Groupon was closed, not in business
On March 5, 2022, I ordered a poke bowl of $12.00 from Anchor and Eat in Naples, Florida. I called more than 5 times for the time to pick up my food. There were no answer during normal business hour in a span of two days. I even drove to check out this merchant, and found the store was locked during normal business hours. On March 7th, the charged was posted to my credit card. I called my credit card company, Capital One to dispute the charge, and was credit with the same amount. I am writing this complaint is to alert your company, Groupon should have done a better job in verifying the validity of your merchants. I don't want other consumers to waste their energy and time in dealing with this kind of merchant. By the way, Anchor and Eat continues to show up on the Groupon's daily online advertising. Groupon should put a stop to this.
