I had a simple question I wanted to ask Ancestry about something they sent me, so I had to search for their phone number this morning and finally something I could use (their customer service number is not prominent on their website if there at all). I was on hold for...

The results are very vague. I can't download the DNA information even when clicking on the link in the email they send you. When you try to contact them from their website, that link also doesn't work. Basically, my conclusion is they suck money from people. Give them...

I got kits for my family members for Christmas. Two of the results have come back and are so vague that they are meaningless. My father in law was told he's 100% European Jewish - no country or region. Just that he's Jewish. My mother's results don't make any sense and...

The price they charge you for research is not worth it anymore. I've been a member for years. And it was so much easier before they change the program. Now they make you look through 20,000 or 30,000 people before you can get to your personal person even when you have given all the information you have

Short Review for March 15, 2017

Ancestry is a gimmick to me and it's really sad how they all are switchboards who deals with the government not only for family background but criminal about yourself and your family. Want to delete all of my ancestry entirely from there internet. To lie and light the leaf green on a false misspelled name is truly a gimmick

Just purchased and it is NOTHING like advertised, in fact the free version in library was as good. I don't need Ancestry to look up family on old census, but that is about all it provides. It dies not fill names as it claims on tv ad. Want my mobey back.

I had misspelled my first name on ancestry and it had the nerve to light up green on family tree. Totally inaccurate and I have more than one ancestry because kept forgetting my password and because of hackers from Facebook and Gmail going on my ancestry page even if...

I can trace my ancestry back to the early 1400s and when I submitted my DNA sample without "filling out my tree" I received results that were impossible. The explanation is that they use averages typical of certain types to make assumptions when providing your "Pie...

I tried the free trial and I put in the names of my mother and my father as listed on their birth certificates and I know specifically the date, city, and state, they were born. Even with that information Ancestry couldn't find them. This is unbelievable. What good is...

My wife who was one of 10 kids grew up in Florida, but her Mom and her Dad both were from Alabama. They both have American Indian heritage and blood lines. In fact her Mother who is new 84 often tells the stories of how she used to visit the Indian reservation when she...

I set the date on my calendar and got online to cancel a FREE trial before it ended having already paid $99 for a DNA kit. When I noted that Ancestry.com automatically billed my credit card twice ($19.99 x 2), I called customer service and politely explained the...

I bought the DNA kit from AncestryDNA and have yet to receive my kit from 1/12/17 when it was supposed to have been shipped. When I called about my missing shipment I was told to wait 3 days and call back. I called after 3 days and then told I had to wait another 5...
