I own an Ancel DS100 and love it. I just purchased a DS300 online.
I figured the DS300 would be plug and play as well, but it's not. I hooked it up to an automobile, and it shows me nothing.
I can't read anything. It's looking for web connections.

S300 pushes 17psi by design, will blow up your Evap system and Ancel - doesn't meaningfully respond ("contact your seller").

Telling me I can add an aftermarket pressure regulator - to make a brand new product function for the purpose it was marketed and purchased??? To say nothing that modifications tend to void warranties.

- - The scanner was plugged in and charging with the included charger.
- - About 20 minutes later, the house filled with smoke and the couch burned through.
My scanner was plugged up, charging with the charger that came with it. I've never had a problem until now.
While plugged up, I heard my chihuahua start barking frantically.
Only after 20 minutes of being plugged up, I came back in and the house was covered in smoke. It burned *** through my couch; it could have burned my whole house down.
Preferred solution: I would like my scanner replaced and conversation replacement cost for my couch

Ive sent back the defective product two weeks ago and i had to pay for the return shipping!! They havent even notified me if theyve recieved the product!! But i have a USPS tracking number and according to the USPS they have recied the product but havent tried to contact me so i guess they have stolen the $609 that i paid for the scanner im beyond pissed!!!
I purchased the Ancel X7 pro about two weeks ago after reading nothing but good reviews about the product so I purchased one, and I've been regretting that decision ever since I've done everything they asked to correct the issue but I get no response from then I advise you I'd you're in the market for a professional scanner choose snap On you may pay a little more but it's worth it Shame on you Ancel!! I'm telling h all my mechanic friends how you sold me a defective product and refused to do the right tbing!!Don't purchasedont waste ypur time or .moneywast
