Verified Reviewer |Beware of AMZ Founders: A Costly and Regrettable Experience
- - AMZ Founders' DFY promises failed; no profit.
- - Invested over $3,500; $500 for a flawed site.
- - Store closed; ROI -190%; deficit $5,804.
The company has never tried to make it right, from the accumulation of reviews online it looks like they treat most of their customers/clients the same.
Yet, my involvement with them turned into a cautionary tale filled with financial loss and unfulfilled promises. Starting in late June, I invested over $3,500,of which $500 went towards a poorly constructed, barely functioning website. This was supposedly a necessary component to opening a Walmart store, yet it was revealed only after the money was paid that I needed to invest further in Home Depot Gift Cards to keep the operation running smoothly. They list on Walmart and use the gift cards to dropship products from Home Depot.
You heard that rightsometimes you lose money on items. I recall the greatest margin on a listing was still under $5.00!One of the most frustrating aspects was dealing with my account manager, Harry. His demands were often urgent, with notifications arriving just hours before a task needed to be completed. If you work a full-time job, forget it; if you want to go on vacation, forget it!The entire system felt like an endless sinkhole of time and resources.
The supposed DFY management by AMZ Founders was a disaster from the beginning. The spreadsheet containing the gift card information was shared among over 20 contractors and employees of AMZ, leading to inevitable mismanagement, loss, and likely theft by their staff. On multiple occasions, I even found gift cards on my store account's GC spreadsheet that belonged to other accounts, further highlighting the chaos and disorganization. My self-motivated frequent audits of the shared spreadsheet uncovered missing gift cards equivalent to hundreds of dollars. While AMZ Founders acknowledged these discrepancies, their promises of refunding the stolen amounts were empty.
It took over six months, filled with persistent reminders from my end, to see any funds returnedor rather, any acknowledgment of their perpetual errors.Despite relinquishing control to AMZ Founders as per their business model, the store never turned a profit. Ultimately, this mismanagement led to a permanent ban on my account and the closure of the store, leaving me with a negative return on investment of a staggering 190%. The ordeal has left me with a significant financial deficit of $5,804.29 and a stockpile of unwanted Home Depot Gift Cards. This cautionary tale warns others considering their services: proceed with caution, for my experience with AMZ Founders has been nothing but regretful.
You read that right AMZ Founders will sell some stuff but nearly EVERY sell costs you more money. Engaging business with them is a straight money suck out of your bank account.
- Get rich
- You get poor
Preferred solution: To warn the public of my experience
User's recommendation: AVOID, your money is better in a checking account, IT WILL HAVE A HIGHER ROI
