Bad costumer service

Opened the web from Oz and I thought the price is in AUD since the shipping cost to my address is free. Surprised when I saw my bank statement that they charged it in USD.
I googled the company and found these reviews. I wrote emails to them to cancel my order (they said we can cancel as long as it hasn't been shipped) but got no answer at all. I immediately called my bank to cancel it and they proceeded it. The next day the cs sent an email telling me that my order has been shipped, but still no answer to my previous emails.
Luckily my bank can rectify my money and few days later the cs emailed me asking why they got chargeback request from the bank with some pre-answered email asking me to tell them to cancel the chargeback request and proceed my order. I did not answer since they also did not answer to my emails.

Beautiful website, but their phone numbers do not work. That should have been my first clue.
I only ordered one umbrella, but it was defective; it would not stay up. Surprisingly, I did receive an email response from the company who asked me to take a video so they could understand what was broken. Really? There is only one moving part.
I complied, and they disappeared. I filed a complaint with PayPal, whereupon the company asked me to return the broken umbrella to China! That would have cost more than the value of the product. If they really have an office in NYC, why would I not be able to return it there?
Perhaps that's a fake address too.
Terrible company with a slick website. Save your money, don't get duped by them; stay away from this company.

My Amy's umbrella had a faulty pole from the start that would not stay stretched open. It kept collapsing.
I contacted Amy's first through their warranty online form (worrying when all it asks is the order number and no email address) and then sent an email to the support email address. I received no response either way.

As soon as I had placed my order I had a very bad feeling. I googled reviews and found these reviews here.
I immediately went back to the website and even though they state you can cancel your order as long as it has not shipped, it is impossible to do so. I tried a couple of ways to contact them but no response.
After a few days had passed I received an email to say it was too late to cancel as the item had already been sent to the shipper, however they could recall it ( for a fee) no tracking information has been provided. Please people do not order from these crooks!

This is the worst umbrella! It takes minutes to open or close.
But worse than that is the customer service. It is impossible to begin a return process on their site because the site does not allow the process to go through, email response is zero, their phone contact is actually a Medicare number, ships from China with no return address. I filed complaint with paypal and Amys Umbrellas responded to me with an offer of a 60 preent refund. What sort of company does not offer a full refund to a dissatisfied customer!!?

I bought two umbrellas for almost $90 from amysumbrellas.com and one of them broke on the first use and the second one had a huge black smudges on the white handle. I could not return the first umbrella as I already opened it as per their return policy.
I reached out to customer service asking for a refund for the umbrella with the black smudges on them.
They asked me to take a photo and never reimbursed me for the product even though I received it damaged. I've reached out to customer service multiple times ever since and have not received any answers.

The returns section of their website is not operable. Their contact via phone is actually a Medicare phone number. I am filing a complaint through Paypal and Amy's is offering me a 60 percent return. That's insane!!!
What company does not give a full refund to a very dissatisfied customer. Save yourself time and do not purchase from Amy's !!
