Horrible customer service Punta Cana

Avoid booking with Alex at Bavaro Princess. He lied to us about the excursion we would be doing. We were told we were paying for a private charter fishing excursion for 8 hours. When we arrived we were placed on a boat with multiple people and was told the trip was 4 hours. We did not complete the excursion and went back to the resort to talk to Alex. He was rude and told us that we shouldn't have left the excursion. We asked for our money back and was told that we could not have a refund. We asked to speak to a manager. Manager Sifredo was extremely rude on the phone and told us that Alex did not lie to us. He said he believes Alex and not the 4 customers. He said "It's a shame that you're spending your money and do not know what you're spending your money on." Absolutely horrible customer service. The other 3 people in our group were all sitting with Alex on 4/12/19 when the excursion was booked. All 4 of us heard and understood one thing while Alex tried to back track and say that we lied. It definitely was not a language barrier. He speaks English. Avoid Amstar at all cost. Generally the better priced excursions are the ones offered at the hunts along the pool at the beach.
