Amscot Corp cashed a check that had a stop payment on it for $1,500 and the holder of the check did not have a valid Drivers license. His license was suspended 4 months before he cashed the check.

Amscot had a judgment for $4,966.48 against me and so far, withdrawal $8,025.71 from my bank Account.

Where is the Florida Banking Law, Is this legal, pleas somebody help me. Thanks

Somebody went into Western Union and changed my name and put their name and cash my check at amscot in Florida City Florida I really need to investigate this because this was money was a foundation for My Dead brother to take care of all the little k it was for the little kids I was going to have a foundation for the kids to help in the black and everybody race community somebody took my Apple prepaid two cards from E eBay and Apple two cars around $170 but about time I got to the place I lost it and somebody got the card and change my profile now somebody is getting my money from my rap thing the only thing I can tell you is I investigated on my phone and if my money is missing from Florida City that's where I'm from

I cannot believe their prepaid card services as my soc.sec.deposit benefit wits there as I remain on hold the whole day ...

Did not let me cash my check due to thinking it was fraudulent.. I was able to cash it the next day at Wells-Fargo.. Nothing fraudulent the check that came from overpayment on my car.

After having been a regular customer of Amscot on A1A in Daytona Beach, I was turned down for a routine payday loan. Thankfully, after a phone conversation with this "home office" on Fl westcoast, I was able to get my usual loan. Thank you.

They will be tested for their knowledge of mathematics. Online job boards, such as Monster.com are monitored, and if an employee has a resume open or is serving for another job, they may be questioned about it, and why they are searching for another job.

If a customer owes money, an employee is required to seize those funds when appropriate, often without the customer’s knowledge beforehand. Time to time, customers make death threats against you for taking their money. They are required to have cell phones and cars. The company does hire people who make the free choice to smoke cigarettes.

They must have an open availability and are not permitted to have a second job.They are required to be able to work up to 26 miles from their home. Hygenie and personal appearance are closely monitored, and discussed with employees if there is a problem with hair style, hair color, breath, tattoos (cannot be visible), no colognes or perfumes, weight loss or gain, overall health or decision to see a doctor, variations on uniform, name badge, jewelry, etc. There is a policy and procedure for almost anything you can imagine. There is also something called “required reading”.

The reading is books kept within the branch, and one book in particular is Christian based, although choice of another religion will be permitted, but maybe not encouraged.

If an employee falls “out of line” they will be effectively dispatched without hesitation. This is considered to be “one of the best companies to work for” in Florida.
