Cannot not cancel

I have tried to cancel my account with Amoco Motor Club and they tell me that they cannot find my account, although they charge my bank account every year. Will you please cancel my account # 100 00* 955 *72 5.

If you really need assistance find another auto club

I've had this service for over 40 years and it wasn't until 2 years ago I called needing a jump. The woman on the phone kept asking *** questions, then gave me a responding time of 60 minutes.

About 90 minutes into waiting a man pulled in that had jumper cables and after getting my vehicle started we chatted for awhile and STILL no show for Amoco. Today I called them again for a jump and was told they had cancelled my service. That just doubled my frustrated mood but they even topped that. They forwarded me SEVEN times and I STILL hadn't got to the right dept.

So I called AAA got signed up ($30 less than what these bozos wanted) and the guy was here in 15 minutes. Good riddance Amoco!

Every number you call does not go through not even the emergency road service number. how is a customer supposed to get through and talk to anyone if their phones at Amoco road service do not work!

Now thats one *** of a good service to pay for!!! I tried to cancel through billing and they gave me the 1-80*-872-**** number which is a busy signal I call every number on the website and all numbers were a busy signal like they were out of order WTF!!!

I am so frustrated with them at this point and still can't get a hold of anyone. How is a person supposed to get through to them???

Poor service

We had a call for a tow and they sent a person with a battery to jump the car. We called back and had to wait another two hours.

Then the charged us for two calls when it was their mistake. That left us with one tow. We called for a tow today and they called Kidd,s in Merriam, KS. They would not tow the car without jumping so that made two tows which cost me 38.00.

Their operators do not speak English well. After the last two tow fiasco, they had the nerve to send us a letter/survey.

The first question asked how the English of the operator was.

They have extremely poor customer service.

Been a member since 1972 had lots of road calls. Last week engine simply stopped on a busy road in town.

Called Amoco MC

could not understand person and they asked 20 questios and on top of that did not have a service we could use without paying up front. Ending up cancelling and calling a local towing service.

Auto club call service in India

My car was stranded in an intersection during rush hour. I call Amoco Motor Club and was connnected to customer service in India.

When I asked for a representative in the US, I was transferred to someone who could not help me and transferred back to India!

After nearly 1 hour on the line, not being able to be heard, not being understood or able to understand the representative, I was told it would be another 100 minutes until they could get me a tow. I hung up and contacted a tow truck on my own that was able to respond within 30 minutes.
