Verified ReviewerResolved: Disputed damaged delivery
- - The glass jar was wrapped in a thin layer of plastic.
- - The outer package was undamaged; thicker bubble wrap could help.
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. Amazon customer service finally agreed to a refund after I submitted photos of broken jar….even though there was a no return policy on food items.
Unless you know they are going to securely package your food items in glass containers, don’t order. It should be a given that that anything glass would be in a lot of thick bubble wrap or styrofoam (which I am not a big fan of).
My Amish apple butter in a glass jar was wrapped in a thin layer of plastic. The outside shipping package was not damaged.
Had the company used a thick bubble wrap, this could have been avoided.
So disappointed. Why would the company think the product was going to make it to my front door intact???
- I would never again order perishable items in glass jars
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Don’t buy perishable items in glass jars.
