Didn't cancel or refund my policy
Was misled by a Florida insurance agent into getting a policy with Florida Blue who never broke down its pricing. Later my CPA realized I was making 2 payments to different companies and one of them was Americo.
I was overpaying for life insurance to Americo which the agent misled me into getting without my knowledge.
I created a claim with Americo, explaining them a valid reason for cancellation and refund and followed up with them for about a month.
They DID NOT cancel or refunded $1,200 I've paid for a life insurance policy the agent misled me into getting.
The company didn't return my calls and ended up sending a letter after a month stating they WON'T REFUND my money. I would recommend Americo to anyone, awful customer service and unfair treatment to their customers.
