Not a very accommodating hotel

The hotel has a decent pool and breakfast area when staying there. The managers on the other hand are VERY rude, unaccommodating, unreasonable etc. One of the women at the front desk had a bad attitude towards customers, wasn't very friendly when being asked about other areas in the Door County area. It seems like staff in Door County are rude in general to tourists. They act like they have entitlement because a lot of people supposedly come there every year. Possibly the worst hotel customer service I've seen at any hotel. There are better hotels out there than this one. is

Complaint

We arrived early after driving 14 hrs. We called twice about early check in. When we got there they wanted to charge us for early check in but it was never mentioned in the calls. I had booked 3 rooms for 10 people through hotels.com. they suggested 3 rooms and i reserved a rollaway. The owner said there was no room for it. Went to the rooms carpet filthy, tub nasty, wall dirty. Took pitures and went back to the desk. We were moved but ceilng was peeling lights dusty, hole in bathroom wall by hooks. No where to go; game weekend. We came for a funeral. My brother had to sleep on my sisters living room floor because no rollaway. Breakfast room dirty dirty rug, no fruit till i complained and it was only apples. The owner was not nice. Not sure if it was color or our low room rate. Online rooms are really nice. I was told when were leaving by another guest that the 3rd floor was nice. We were on the 1st and 2nd. Wyndham is normally nice. Not the Americinn by Wyndham @ the oklahoma city airport. My pics wont upload but i still have them. I tried calling in a review but i only speak English but that person did not. If we could have found another hotel we would have left. We actually cut our trip short. We were supposed to visit with my sister whose husband died to help her an extra 2 days after the funeral but couldnt take another day. Yvonne Bates, Cheryl Johnson, Kristin Jackson. I Yvonne Bates took the heat for the filthy rooms and bad breakfast.

BEWARE they will defraud your credit card days after you leave and check out properlly

there were only 5 cars there each nite we stayed,so they choos eto rob us by defrauding our credit card days after we left,claiming they smelled weed!!.I was passing through on training with my working K-9 partner,so they DEFINITELY picked the WRONG person and operation to say smelled of weed..they know that the customer(VICTIM) has NO recourse and cannot do ANYTHING about it except to contact their credit card company with fraud report .they definitely have picked the wrong crew to rob this time,as this will be reported to the local authorities and handled property to assure we get them charged and convicted for this made up charge to defraud.There is no telling HOW MANY PEOPLE they do this to,But rtest assured,we are going to find out!!!
