Broken mattress

I paid for a mattress here in North Carolina on September 11 of 2022 within not even two months of being with that mattress. It started sinking in very badly. I called to talk to the people at the store theyre telling me its gonna theyre gonna date you guys are going to charge me to get it replaced or theres two options. Either way I had to pay money and it does not make me very happy when it is on your end that the default has happened and that is a broken mattress it is not extra firm like it supposed to be when I lay in it, I think down to where both sides of the mattress come up to the middle of my body, or basically meets my belly button and thats ridiculous when Ive only had it for under two Months , anyways Ive kept calling I try to get in touch with corporate all I keep getting told even through email is I only have those two options when my option should be get the mattress replaced with one that is not broken and Ill not be charged thats what I want to happen. It is not my fault like I said that your mattress had a default in it. I should not be punished for your product.

Bad quality of a mattress

I purchased a queen extra firm mattress for $900.00 on September 11th 2022. I started calling 2 months ago and no one will help me with wanting me to spend more money. Im not very happy right now. As much as I paid for this mattress it should be perfect. I just keep getting told you have to pay this much for this option and this much for this option. I dont understand why I cant get my mattress replaced with out charging me for your bad mattress and then wanting to bring some guy to my house to measure. When I lay in the bed my body sinks in to where the mattress is coming up half way on the side of my body. I had it for just a little over a month and it started sinking in. I would appreciate it if you would replace the defaulted mattress with one that is not damaged and is extra firm please EXTRA FIRM thank you. I even had my son go to you for a king size extra firm. I just pray this doesnt happen to him.

Preferred solution: Replace my mattress with out charging me to get it replaced or delivered. I would like the mattress to be extra extra firm.

Most uncomfortable bed I have ever owned

Purchased a new bed from this store mid-January 2019. Old mattress was totally worn out and was aggravating my back. After sorting my back out with my chiropractor, I started noticing that I had a limit of just 2 to 3 hours I could sleep on this bed before my lower back muscles began to lock up. I now have to get up...sometimes 2 or 3 times a night...so I can go stretch my back out in my livingroom recliner for an hour or so. I went back to the store to find out what options I might have. The clerk apologized that at 17 days since we purchased the bed, it was outside their 14 night in-home trial. So there was nothing they could do. So now I am paying for a bed that I will most likely have to replace sometime soon, unless I want to continue my nightly recliner escapes. Thank you SO much America's Matress! You have given me the most uncomfortable bed, and I will not be returning to your store anytime soon.

Help me please.

I bought a Blue Fusion 1000 pillowtop from America Mattress. On Morehead City, NC I’m 33 days into my trial. The bed is too hard and causing bodily discomfort. I’ve tried resolving the issue with the merchant, but they are not allowing me full purchase price on a trade. Instead of standing behind purchase, they are trying to make 1000 on a trade. We cannot come to any agreement. They pushed the trial hard, now I’m stuck with a mattress I can’t sleep on. I even requested GIVING it to them if they would pick it up. Totally unacceptable. I have almost 2600 invested. I wanted to reach out to another avenue for resolution prior to filing a lawsuit. I want to trade this mattress. The Icomfort blue 3000 foam is the only thing I can find that is soft enough through Serta. I’d prefer a full refund. Please advise.

The mattress being too hard is not due to any neglect by Serta. If you bought it from a retailer that doesn't off a refund or full replacement credit, that is not the fault of the manufacturer.

I love my bed

Thanks for all the help with finding the right mattress........we will be back to get my mother a new mattress as soon as we pay off this one we got last week. The delivery was fast and they cleaned up after them selfs. I would tell anyone looking for a mattress to stop here for the best deals around. The adjustable base is so nice when watching tv when going to bed. check them out if you snore it really helps out with that that is the part my wife likes the most. They sales guy Gary was very helpful and did not rush us at all.

Bed mattress and box spring and in casements

i had a bad experience with America mattress I bought a memory foam pillow top mattress and they gave bed to someone else i got offered a different bed its not pillow top and I doubt the mattress is memory foam its hard and very uncomfortable i told the manager word of mouth gets around so he gives me a memory foam pillow I guess to keep me quiet I have slept in my chair so last night I thought I would try to sleep in the bed all night I didn't get much sleep and in itching and I have a rash I think I might be allergic to the mattress even there is a sheet on it or I am allergic to the mattress or the in casements i will never buy another thing from America mattress once you get something In your home your stuck with it even though your un happy with it and that is my bad experience with them

Purchased mine 11/24/17 sagging already . The Americas Mattress in Martell, Ca sats I voided the warranty, instead of backing their product. I will never buy another Serta.

Refused to honor warranty for sagging mattress

We purchased a $2200 Serta Vera *** Glamour Mattress and after 3 years the mattress is sagging badly. We contacted Serta and they charged us $35 to send out someone to inspect the mattress and then they denied our claim stating that the mattress was not sagging enough. This sagging mattress has caused me to have to have spine surgery and they refused to honor their warranty. They charged us $35 to send someone out to insepect the mattress and after denying the claim they said we can file again in 6 months and pay them another $35 to file our claim denied. This is a rip off!

It looks like they attempted to satisfy you, and if the sag is within specs why would they replace it when the guarantee is 1.5 inches. Then if it measures over the 1.5 then is considered a sag.

They have to get an approval from the parent company before a return can be made. Then for the inspection fee being a rip off unfortunately sending people out is not free it seems pretty reasonable at 35.00.

I had a service call on my refrigerator and that charge was 75.00...

Americas Mattress/Serta Scam

We spent $1755 on their "top of the line" Relaxation Response. We started out with the plush because I didn't want a pillowtop. We both woke up with terrible backaches. We went back to the store and he exchanged for a horrible pillowtop and we are heading back to the store today. We feel like we are trapped. They have our money and there's nothing we can do. I've talked with customer service and they are reading from the same script as the salesman. Buyer Beware Serta has gone downhill over the years. They are no longer America's Greatest Mattress. I absolutely agree. We purchased a serta in feb 2011 and it started sagging after 3 months and gave us horrible back pain.

I complained enough that they finally agreed to do a "comfort swap" exchange (in feb 2012) so we got the Serta Glen Haven mattress and within 2 months this one started sagging again and we wake up every morning with lower back pain. It's miserable. Americas Mattress got $2000 of our money and there's pretty much nothing we can do now to get it back. It's such a sham.

Serra is the worst!!! I will never buy another one and I spread the word to very one I know.

We bought a regular Serta mattress set, Glen Haven, from Americas Mattress and after just 60 days the mattress began to sag enough so that it is visible just looking at the mttress. Americas Mattress said the mattress has to sink another 1/2 inch before they can do anything about it. Tell me how an $1,100 mattress set that is supposed to last many years is sagging in just 60 days!!!

America's Mattress

We made a purchase of a complete King Enlivenment ET w/Perfect Day Boxsprings in the amount of over 2K and within 7 months the springs had sprung. I made phone calls starting in Oct. and was told that they did not know when they could get someone to check it out. Needless to say, I've made several emails both to the individual business and the main business with no response. It's a shame to not honor any warranty or even have the decency to return an email or phone call. They are standing upright in my garage and will be on their way to the dumpster. Never again will I purchase any Serta product or recommend their product. Vickie New Bern, NC
