Telemarketers call for AWIS multiple times a day.
Once AWIS got my phone number, they have called me multiple times a day for weeks. In the automated call, it says to press 7 if you want to be added to a no-call list, but this has not removed my number from their call bank. When I press 3 to be connected to an agent, the majority of times the call is dropped. Three times I have actually gotten through. But if they have any inkling that I am answering the call to be removed from the call list, they immediately hang up.
Finally, by pretending to be interested, I asked the marketer on the other end for a phone number in case I needed to get back with me, and he gave me a number of AWIS - 866-365-****. The information on their website sounds like the service he was offering.
This is telemarketing at its worst. I have saved more than 10 of the numbers AWIS has used to call me as "telemarketer", but they have used more than 20 numbers to call me - they are always changing numbers so that it does nothing to block them.
After the first 20 or so calls, and there have been more than 100, I decided that I would never give business to a company that employs this strategy to try and get customers. I use my phone for business, so I must answer every call, and this gets so exasperating. In one day I can get 10 calls from AWIS telemarketers. Please STOP IT, AWIS.
