They are crooks and liars

They removed all my property at the request of my insurance carrier. Now they have sent me bills in excess of $100,000 for storage and cleaning. It has been almost two years and I have yet to receive one thing back, cleaned or repaired. I am a single elderly woman on my own and I am at a loss for how this will turn out. This company did not fulfill their own contract to separate wet items from dry items so they destroyed more of my belongings then were lost by the water leak. A company this bad shouldn't be allowed to do business in Arizona. They are a pack up and move out company out of California who work for insurance companies and makes their money off the back of people's misfortune. Don't ever use them for anything.

Horrible experience with American Technologies Incorporated

I finally feel free to comment on the horrific experience my family endured with American Technologies Incorporated. The reason I have waited is that I needed their unconditional waiver and release, which I received today, because I do not trust them to not do something nefarious and exact retribution for a truthful bad review. This company needs a light shone on them. We had a slab leak and were referred to ATI by our insurance company. Their estimator, Paul Russo, came out gave us an estimate (approximately $60,000) for repair and upgrade of the kitchen and shower. Obviously we would need to pay for the upgrade amount. Mr. Russo promised this to be a 2 month job, and that he would personally supervise the project and would be visiting the project and overseeing every detail on a weekly basis. The job took over 8 months to complete, due to the lack of performance of ATI, and the poor quality of workmanship that had to be removed and repeated multiple times. Week after week would go by with nothing happening or one workman would come out for half a day then nothing more for a week. Oftentimes the workman would show up with no instructions from the foreman or supervisor saying, I am here to work on the house, what do I need to do. I would think, that is what the contractor was for. Mr. Paul Russo never, not once, came out to look at the site during the 8 months. When we asked him why he was never here, his response was “your right I should come out more.” Even after saying that he still never showed up. When the foreman on the project was made aware of the situation, he would role his eyes and say I cannot do anything, he is my boss. I could go on and on about the lies that were told, the deceit and the price gauging that occurred while were held hostage with our house torn apart, but that would likely bore the reader. Suffice it to say avoid American Technologies Incorporated for any project you might consider. I know construction projects are trying at best for the homeowner, we have been through several. But this company is the worst I have ever dealt with and exemplifies the horror stories you hear about this industry.

(ATI) as they go by is a restoration company primarily doing insurance work. Water damage, fire, smoke , wind, tree, and other. They have a substantial amount of projects due to the limited companies approved by Insurance brokers and there vendor standards. ATI treats customers as a number rather than a client. Why, because there is a list of other numbers that need an insurance financed project completed. You "almost" have ATI as your only option. ATI scrapes together sub-contractors that they can give a very low Contract amount too. They pull a minimum of 30% off the top of a pre-determined (exactimate)amount. Usually these subs are either inexperienced or Blow and Go subs with employees that get paid a daily cash wage or 3rd party target hour(not legal to contract SUB-contractor). These people can do projects for a fraction of the cost because they lack Insurances, Bonding, Workers compensation, Licenses or other Documentation that is normally required to be a legitimate legal company. ATI then withholds payment to the original Subcontractor for as long as 60 days. So--Your work is being completed by broke, ticked of, uncaring, No name people that could care less about Project 276854 (You) Do yourself a favor and use a small, Local General Contractor that wants to work for You again and uses you for his/her advertisement.

We made the mistake of using them to fix some damage at our condo complex and they never finished the job, and the work they did do wasn't done correctly. We won't make that mistake again.

this is a 100% accurate description of the ATI business model.
