Verified ReviewerTrying to discontinue persistent phone calls and emails to renew my membership
- - Been a member since 2018 with more disappointments than positives.
- - The travel agents aren't true agents and act as order takers.
Been a member since 2018 and have had more disappointing experiences than positive ones and I finally give up. The "travel agents" aren't truly travel agents.
They are typically not knowledgeable of the travel industry. Rather, they are order takers. For example, if you're looking for a cruise, they ask you to research their website of cruises (which is the same as the cruise lines) and tell them which one you would like to book. The agents are not capable of answering any real travel questions.
To answer your questions, they read the same information available to you. Then, after booking, if you have an issue, they tell you, "oh, you need to call..." or "you need to...". It all falls back on you to fix the issue. Again, order takers, not travel agents, problem solvers or customer service reps.
Yes, the rebates from the company arrive in a timely manner however; I'm not sure they are any cheaper than a genuine travel agent. And if they are, well, sometimes you get what you pay for.
If that works for you, then this is the company with which you want to do your travel business. If you want any level of customer service, or travel advice, I suggest you find a genuine travel agent.
Preferred solution: Nothing, just don't want any more emails or phone calls trying to renew my membership.

Verified ReviewerRebate Checks for our travel are great,
We purchased our membership about the time I retired. Its true they match any pricing, but the beauty is the rebate check (3-7%) after travel. We are pleased and glad we joined.
- Excellent rebate checks
Preferred solution: Positive comments
This is a scam
- - They promised better benefits than our timeshare.
- - We paid a lot of money with no benefits, offers, or communication and want a class action.
They lied to us when we bought. They promised we would have the way better benefits than our current timeshare.
They referred us to someone that could sell our current timeshare for us. They told us what we could get for our current timeshare. We never received any offers or communication from them!
We paid a crapload of money for this, with no benefits. I'd like to start a class action lawsuit against these people!
User's recommendation: RUN AWAY FAST!
They do not have the rates they show in the presentation and they state that Vacation Services International can sell your timeshare they sold theirs do not believe them. DO not waste your money
- - The program is poor; I can find better deals myself.
- - He charged $299 and listed my unit on Vacation Service International; no sales in a year.
I bought the travel program it is not that good I can find better deals on my own. The presenter let me talk to Edward McGee who said he had clientele that wanted to buy timeshares. Edward McGee charged me a fee of $299 and all he did was list my unit on their web site Vacation Service International they have not sold a unit at my resort aaed from a year ago the
User's recommendation: stay away
