No refund after 6 months

They cancelled cruise in Sept 2022, said refund would be sent out before end of year. Every time I call I am assured get in 2 weeks.

Then said Credit card company refused their deposit. I called credit card company and they said they would never refuse deposed and there had been no attempt] from company to deposit.

Credit card company said if I still have not received refund by March 18th the fraud division would open investigation. I called American Queen again today and told "in 2 weeks".

Waiting for credit

We had a post trip extension for 2 nights cancel shortly before our embarkment day of Nov 16th of 2022. I messaged AQ to ask when we would get back our substantial payment nearly$2400 that they had back in July of 2021.

At first they told me that we would not be receiving a refund as we were given another post extension for the new department city( Louiseville instead if Memphis). I explained we were never informed that this was even available & was told to change our plane tickets to fly home which we did so we wouldn't of even been able to do the post extension. They finally agreed on Nov 15th that we would be given our refund. AS OF 12-7-2022 we still haven't received the refund.

I called today & the AQ rep said there was no way they could check to see if the refund had been processed or how much longer it would be.

AQ has had $2400 of our money for over 16 months & can't get it back to us in a timely manner. I also have not been reimbursed for the extra costs we incurred by having to change our flights etc.

Waiting for credit

We paid for our Nov 2022 trip fully in July 2021. They canceled our post trip and we still have not gotten credit for it.

Same with the extra costs we incurred because of change of itinerary.

They couldn't even check to see when I will get reimbursed just to tell me that the credit was ok'd on Nov 15th. Christmas us right around the corner & I really need it.

Company canceled trip. I STILL do not have my money back !!

Each time I call or write, Im given no answer, no reply or it should be soon.

I pd in August. Its now December.

Our cruise vessel had mechanical problems and we had to be bused over 4 hours upstream. Because of this, we missed out on approximately 1/3 of the distance of cruising.

I feel we should be compensated accordingly. I have made 5 calls.it is impossible to talk to a supervisor. The one time I actually TALKED to someone, I was told to send an email.

This was my 5th cruise with American Queen and I LOVE them.I have a 6th booked for November. I am so disappointed that their customer relations is handled so poorly.

Have no idea if they will ever get back to me.

The cruise I was on went from St. Louis to Minneapolis on the Countess leaving July 22, 2020.

Cancelled cruise problem

I planned a trip with sister. I was doing this for her birthday.

I brought the insurance beause we are 72 and you never know what will happen. Has the trip got closer my hyperkalemia was hi. My doctor suggested I not travel I got a note from him and the same time my sister was not doing well. Because I booked the and paid for it I canceled it and got a note from my doctor.

The insurance company said not enough. So My sister got her doctor to fill out the form. They said not covered because I canceled it and my doctor said the form said I had to go to hospital and I did not so he could not fill out the form but my sisters doctor did.

They would not cover it and I am out a trip or my money back. I WANT TO TALK TO UPPER MANAGEMENT BUT CANT GET A NUMBER FRUSTRATING THANKS
