This company is a complete fraud. They will hound you to sign the note with Benji financing which is also part of the scam.
The second they show up to your house a woman from American Power is essentially stalking you to sign the finish job contract, so they can get paid by Benji. I believe Benji financing is part of the scam and I'm going to contact the AG department to investigate. American Power Solution is a fly-by-night company and should remove the name American from the company name.
Co.should be called Power Fraud Solutions. And for Benji shame on you for partnering with these crooks.

- - Contracted blown-in insulation and attic fan; paid $3,320 by personal check cashed next day; salesman unresponsive.

They sent a so-called salesmen over last Tuesday the 17th. Stupidly we contracted for insulation to be blown in and an attic fan to be installed and we gave him a personal check for $3320 which they cashed the next day.
They DID however, have an installer put in the attic fan.
They never showed for the appt. two days hence and we had to call them.
They gave us a story that the truck "ran out of insulation" and rescheduled for the next day. No show, no call. The "salesman" doesnt answer his own cell phone.
The "operations manager", Johnathan, apologized and rescheduled for today ( Sarurday, 9/21 ) between 10:00 am and 12:00. It's now 11:00 and no sign of the installer.
We should never have paid them until they finished the job.

They damaged our solar water heater on install by over tightening the nipples and over soldered the pipes which causes the unit to rattle. The the pump is no longer working and the solar water heater that we are paying for is only working off electric since the pump is not working.
Because they cracked the liner the nipples are almost rusted through and they keep telling us that the repair guys will call but they haven't over the past 4 months.

On September 18, your company – American Power Solutions installed a hybrid water heater in my home. From the time of its arrival, it has not been functioning appropriately. The main concern is that it continually leaks when hot water runs through the system. I have repeatedly contacted personnel in your Skyline Drive office. On these occasions I have spoken to Cara, who apologizes and informs me that I will be contacted about repairing the water heater. To date no one has called to address my concerns. Again, today, I reached out to Cara, and again, no one from your company contacted me, in spite of assurances to the contrary.
Initially, I thought the leak was due to my washing machine which is in proximity to the water heater. I hired a washing machine repair company and the representative showed me that the problem was not with the washing machine but your company’s water heater.
I also bought and paid for a Photovoltaic system which still has not been hooked up.
Please inform me about your plans to correct this issue.

They have not contacted me but Simply Solar did and i also contacted a news company 8 on your side and they came out and did a story on Simply Solar which is the company that worked with American Power Solutions.
I've had issues from day one and no one will call me back or answer the phone. I paid 28,000 for the system and it has not worked properly from day one and it took a year to get the panels even hooked up. They need to be shut down.

We were smart enough to say “no” to all the sales pitch. As we kept saying No, they kept lowering the price.

Ive had my solar panels on for almost two years and havent saved any money on my power bill. When you call to seek help they act like they are going to help and then they never call you back. I have lost a lot of money and time trying to get them to do something to help me. I dont know who owns this company but they should be ashamed.
If i could afford a lawyer i would get one but im trying to keep my credit good by paying my bills. Every time i call Simply solar to complain they blame it on American power solutions they both suck.

Made agreement with them, got approved financed, the loan went straight to the company, its been over 2 months, can't get anyone on the phone, and still don't have the solar panel's. I guess I got taken (ripped off) for $ 10,000.
Now, I'm stuck making the payments every month. Buyers beware!!!!!

Unfortunately, due to a bad egg in our operations department, a small number of our thousands of customers did not receive the level of service or treatment as expected.

This company is a fraud they will not answer the phone to fix any issues. My solar panels have never worked properly and they had some guy named Jonathon call me and acted like he was going to help me and nothing.

This company is the worst. They installed my solar panels without permits and it took them 5 months to get the system approved and up at this point still not sure it is even working properly.
When you call NO ONE calls you back.
Because I financed my panels I had to start make the payment before the system was even approved, they promised reimbursement for the payments I had to make and I am yet to receive the last reimbursement check it has been to months.There is a young lady by the name of Danielle that works in the office and is supposed to be overseeing this but she NEVER calls back when she says she will. I am looking into seek any attorney to get this matter resolved and also to sue the company.
Hello, I have had an attorney send them a letter to take everything off my house but they want to go to court. We cant afford all the court costs so i did the next best thing I called 8 on your side and they are coming out to my house on Monday to do a story.
