Crooks pearls are misrepresented con artists in my opinion
- - Ordered 8mm pearl earring but received something else; $600 paid.
- - Contact with Marc failed; he allegedly promised 8mm upgrade but went silent.
Ordered 8mm pearl earring and you get nothing like that mm. I tried to communicate with Marc and thought all was going well, he agreed to upgrade a 6.5 to 7 mm max to 9 just to fulfill his 8mm scam in my opinion i ordered; or refund, then went radio silent.
He does not want complaints or actions but will not clearly make it right 600.00 out do not deal with this co.

This place seems like an online scam.
- - Purchased a pearl necklace from American Pearl on 12/11/2018; it never arrived and the shipping/tracking email is missing.

What is going on at American Pearl? I purchased a pearl neckless on 12/11/2018 from American Pearl.
I got one emailed receipt at the time of purchase, which states that I have already gotten another email detailing shipping, and instructions for tracking shipping. However that email never came. My pearl neckless never came as well. Since then I have contacted American Pearl on 3 different occasions during business hours, both by phone and by "live chat".
No operators are ever available by live chat. The person who answers the phone is only a "receptionist", not an actual customer service agent and has no access to my account. He/she says she will take my info and forward it on to a customer service agent who will call me. Needless to say, I never get a call or email back from customer service.
I have now begun to think this company is all an internet scam.
Either that or the worst customer service one could possibly imagine. Has anyone else had this experience?
