Negligent and inattentive, lack of customer service

Hi, I would like to take a moment to mention some issues with the limo service on Saturday April 27, 2019. The sound and lights systems were absolutely defective, actually useless. Even though the driver tried to fix it and we also tried to make it work, it just didn't work at all. A party bus without music and lights is just a bus and the price we paid for this service really does not justify it. It was our wedding celebration and this service was supposed to accomplish that, and we were given merely transportation.

We feel we were charged an outrageous amount just for transportation in a very short route.

The positive part is that the driver is a gentleman: very kind, polite, friendly and honest.

Please let us know if you have any solution to the issue we have presented. I prefer to communicate with you instead of writing a negative review. We truly feel disappointed, and this service was the only negative event in our wedding day. The party factor was ruined and never present without music and lights to enjoy with our guests, most of them came from abroad.

Their response was to give us a $50 voucher to be used with them as if I would hire them again:

"... Our staff has checked the vehicle thoroughly and did find BLOWN FUSE . THERE WAS NO LOST TIME IN YOUR RENTAL TIMES WITHOUT STEREO AND LIGHTS . IT WAS DC TOUR AND PER YOUR DRIVER YOU STILL CONTINUED WITH YOUR TOUR AND MINUM TIME INSIDE THE BUS .The vehicle has since than been re-rented multiple times without any reported issues. However, As a gesture of goodwill we would like to extend to you a $50.00 voucher, which you can use towards your next rental with AMERICAN EAGLE LIMO . Please let us know if you will be accepting this so may further proceed."

My response:

"I intend to be clear: A party bus without music and lights is just a regular bus, and there is no way in the world a simple bus service can cost that much. After spending more than $1300 for a simple ride from Arlington to the Lincoln Memorial and back I feel I was robbed and in case I wasn't clear enough: you ruined our party experience, a party bus without music and lights is just a regular bus and you ruined that part of our wedding celebration, an event that happens once in a lifetime for us, an event we offered to our family and friends, and an event that became just a regular and disappointing ride. There is no way in the world a voucher for $50 to be used with you compensates the service you were supposed to provide that special day and you did not."

American Eagle Limousine - EPIC night in DC for a surprise 30th bithday

The party bus was outstanding. It was spacious and the lighting really puts you in the party mood.

Carl, our driver, was very interactive. He made sure we had everything we needed and drove us everywhere we wanted to go.

He showed up on time and waited patiently for the surprise to unfold. I researched every bus company in the area and America Eagle was the cheapest but the bus and service was above and beyond what I expected.

American Eagle Limousine

I rented a pink Breast Cancer Party Bus for my sister must say everyone had a great time. The driver was very friendly and a people person. We cruised, listened to music and danced.

Please be sure to ask for a bus with blue tooth because we had to listen to te radio, but overall it was great.

We cruised the National Harbor and enjoyed the scenic route while enjoying drinks and music.

We arrived at our destination a little early so we stayed on the party bus and had good conversation with driver.

Everyone is still talking about the experience.

False advertising, disrespectful, horrible

HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! This company is extremely RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, and have FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!

I requested a quote for a limo with 19 other friends, and the quote they sent was pretty decent at $695 for 4 inclusive hours. I started asking more questions over the email, and suddenly the same person started throwing around 2 GRAND!!! I was like whoa whoa....you quoted 695. She says No, I didn't. I tried to ignore that and get the price down other ways such as their deal that they will "match any rate" HA!!! I found a ton of other rates less than half of 2 grand, and she replied "It is not the same exact year of vehicle"!!!!!!!!!!! The other vehicles I found were cleaner and more exotic and new.

I later called the manager, who actually yelled at me on the phone trying to defend their unprofessionally run "business". Please note that none of their rates are posted online, unlike other companies. The manager excused the first "cheap" quote that I received by saying that it was "an automated quote"...I replied that it was still from their company signed by them!!! When I suggested that this was somewhat false advertising, not to mention very upsetting and confusing, she blew up at me. I have worked retail and dealt with nasty customers, which I was not. I remained respectfully serious. No service company should treat a customer, especially one who is spending hundreds of dollars on their company like that. I suggest going somewhere else. They say rated the best....by whom may I ask? their own website clearly! Don't waste your time like I did.

I also had a terrible experience with the customer service. They are rude, careless, not an option anymore. I had the disgrace of hiring them for my wedding.

I am sooooo sorry I am just reading this, the staff at American Eagle is horrible, very rude, racist, unprofessional and unethical. I requested their services few months ago, they tried to rip me off by adding extra fees to my written contract, least to say, when I contacted them the manager was very rude, he made derogatory racial statements towards me, later realizing his wrong he tried to force me into using his services, which I refused. Please do not waste your time or money with this company they should not even be in business at all.

I feel your pain! American Eagle Limo is a seriously shady company!

I don't think the owner, Tony Ahmed, has any idea how to speak without lying. Check out their site. Now call them up and ask to book one of their non-SUV limos. They don't even have them in their fleet.

They just steal pictures of other cool limos and advertise them as if they are available, when in fact they never had those cars. The make up the pricing as they go along, add all sorts of surcharges that they don't tell you about, and grossly exaggerate the capacity of their limos (good luck trying to get 20 people in those SUV limos!) The limos they do have are really starting to show their age (they claim they're all 2012 models. Lies. Half of the features/functions in them don't work.

The A/C can never keep up.

(Because the owner treats his limos like he treats his staff and customers: poorly.) If you really do end up using these guys, do yourself the favor of going to their garage and actually seeing what they have for yourself.

Mr. Lightner - I am sorry that you are not satisfied with the settlement terms that were agreed to by and between yourself and American Eagle Limousine for the website work that you did through barter.

That said, publishing statements that assail the owner, alleging acts of moral turpitude, posting inappropriate and defamatory communications directed at American Eagle Limousine, etc. are both unprofessional and unnecessary. They speak only to your character. We certainly have a number of photos of you and your group, as well as reviews of praise, from your past experiences with American Eagle Limousine that contradict your above review.

That said, we absolutely recommend and welcome our customers to come into our showroom location and view our limousines and party buses in person! It gives us the opportunity to meet the customers in person and allow them to view all of the options available for their requested date of service!
