Wasting my VALUABLE TIME !

Don't use this bank if you value your time, particularly if you rely on online banking through your computer or mobile app. I have three business accounts, and they consistently lock you out for various reasons each time.

Then you must call in, but only during their operating hours, and wait on hold for 15-30 minutes until they finally unlock your account. This happens every week or two. They apologize and claim they are working on the issue. I've decided I am switching banks.

Who would want to deal with such a time-consuming institution?

Furthermore, it takes about 7 days for your money to be available if you're incorporated. That's preposterous!

Auto Loan

I will start off by saying the staff at this bank, from behind the counter to the bankers themselves are great people. Always polite courteous, and understanding.

Covid hit me hard and I fell behind On my auto loan, they worked with me as I scrambled to find a second job to catch up on my payments.

Insert their rude arrogant recovery manager Yuri. While I understand its part of that job to be somewhat abrasive and harsh. Tearing someone down when they are struggling mentally, physically, and financially is not a way to motivate people. Yuri is one of the most despicable human beings Ive ever had the misfortune of having a conversation with.

I had a verbal agreement that he threw away over his feelings because I misspoke his name. While I understand there is a contractual obligation that I violated, the times were hardly in anyones favor. Youd believe there would be some understanding after being a longtime customer, but Yuris ego got bruised.

If I was better off Id seek legal action for some of the things that were said to me, simply disgusting. Stay far away, because if you have a catastrophic life event and fall behind, youll have to deal with that wretched human being Yuri.

Incompetent Service

Well let's see... until you try to use the chargeback service they claim to provide, you won't realize how much they couldn't care less in assisting a valid dispute where I ordered 4 chairs online from LOWES.com and only received 2 chairs.

I have been trying to resolve with LOWES and now with the AE FCU Visa Chargeback services since July 1 (almost 2 months ago) they keep closing the issue saying, we never received any documentation (well I faxed it 2x and snail Mailed 1x), or now the issue is that too much time has gone by... NO KIDDING? WHOSE FAULT IS THAT?

I've been calling every week for a status... Can't speak to the group that actually handles the issue.

Atm ate my money and my debit card

I was depositing money and the whole atm freaked started beeping then shut off and rebooted said kept my card for security reasons.

Website is denying access to account even though we know the correct login info was input & when out shopping some debit card purchases didn't go through either - have they been hacked? Missing Fax number from their website too

Unhappy with service

Raven in customer service did not seem like a banking person. She transferred me to a line that nobody picked up.

I was trying to re-finance my car loan, and she wanted to send me to the collection department. My loan is not in collection status, so why would I want to talk to collection. Very UN/professional attitude and seems to be in the wrong line of work. It took me about 20 minutes to get a live person on the phone, and they should have cut to the chase before they decided to deny my refinancing application.

My payments are current and never late. I just needed some type of relief on my car payment, and American Eagle did not want to budge and bring down the payment 1 dollar. I had 2 hardship reasons, Covid-19 and a change in my income status.

They treated me unfair because of an incorrect credit score and made me feel like a second class citizen. I can't wait until my car is paid off because I won't use them anymore.

American Eagle Federal Credit Union stole from me

In the 12 years I've been a member of American Eagle Credit Union, I've never had a problem, that is until, Cheryl Ross who is the manager of the Vernon, CT branch had me arrested & closed my account. Why ?

Because she took $35 out of my account and I dared to question her as to why. She is very anti-customer and she gives the credit union a very bad name. She still never gave me back my money.

American Eagle has alienated so many of its members, that it has to advertise its services in order to make up for all the people who have left because of people like Cheryl Ross. My recommendation, NEVER EVER do business with American Eagle Federal Credit Union because they will eventually steal you money.

Same thing here. Had the account just to pay for my car insurance and all of a sudden my insurance contacted me to tell me that they haven't received any payment in over 4 months.

So my insurance cancelled me bc that's not how they do their business. What's the next step for me to take?
