- - Platinum policy bought Sept 2024; navigation and backup cam covered per salesperson and email, but screen and radio not covered and $1,800 refused.
The saga of American Dream (nightmare) Warrenty continues now they claimed they paid the shop but while I was at the shop they called American dream and the shop was told they were not going to pay. The lies continue.
Sam stated would get someone to call me. Cori said they paid but when I asked for the date he found out that it actually wasn’t paid it was just written as paid.
GPS module is covered but they don’t want to pay for the repair they want to pay a “good will” of less than half of the cost. Do not waste your time or money with this company it is a ripoff!
After 4 calls where they promised to update agreeing to pay 1,000 of the 1800 repair bill they finally sent an email letting repair shop know so parts could be ordered. Now over a week without a car due to their malicious behavior.
The information system screen and sound went out last week.
I took it to their preferred repair shop. They now claim the screen and radio are not covered, so they refused to cover the $1,800 bill, stating the screen was not specifically mentioned as covered, so they do not cover it.
- Reimburse for covered rental at their discretion
- Don not cover repairs stated will be covered
- Not available 24 7
Preferred solution: Cover repairs promised by salespeople and as stated on email.
User's recommendation: Don’t waist your money time or energy with this company! Don’t buy their products!

Verified Reviewer |Warning: Avoid ADAP / American Dream Auto Protect
- - ADAP/American Dream Auto Protect is unprofessional and unreliable.
- - Claims are delayed with inspections and teardown photos and are not honored.
I strongly warn everyone to stay away from ADAP / American Dream Auto Protect. In my personal experience, this company has been extremely unprofessional, misleading, and unreliable.
They sell their warranty plans with promises of protection and peace of mind, but when a real claim happens, they create delay after delay, ask for repeated inspections, request unnecessary teardown and photos, and then look for excuses instead of honoring the contract. My transmission claim has been dragged out for months. The transmission was torn down as requested, multiple inspections were completed, the failure was clearly related to the torque converter and internal transmission components, and my mechanic confirmed the transmission is completely failed. Still, instead of handling the claim properly, they keep giving different excuses and wasting my time while I have no vehicle and continue suffering financially.
In my opinion, this company operates in a very deceptive and scam-like way. They are quick to take your money, but when it is time to pay for a covered repair, they disappear behind excuses, delays, and technicalities. I would never recommend ADAP / American Dream Auto Protect to anyone. Do not trust their sales promises.
Do not rely on verbal statements. Get everything in writing, read every line of the contract, and be prepared for a nightmare if you ever need to file a claim.
This has been one of the worst customer service and warranty experiences I have ever had. I strongly advise consumers to avoid this company and choose a more reputable provider.

- - The reviewer says American Dream Auto denies claims and teardown costs.
- - They allege preexisting failures and no insurer backing for warranties.
The American Dream Auto was founded by four friends who attended Jewish school together in Brooklyn: Michael Alhalabi, Moshe Qubrushi, Miero Qubrushi, and Moshe Srour. This company will take your money and, if you have a claim, will do everything possible to deny your claim.
Failed engine or transmission? They want you to pay to tear it down to see if the result is due to a covered component. If you have a failure that costs thousands, it was preexisting. They gave no insurance carrier to back their warranties, and these four guys have used marketing strategies to deceive thousands, living like kings and enjoying the finest things in life.
These guys need to be indicted for money laundering and imprisoned for their acts against American society. These guys are criminals, and the NJ Attorney General needs to act now, as severe harm is being done to innocent consumers and millions of dollars are being stolen.

- - On hold 40+ minutes, told no one is available to help.
- - They deny coverage at every turn, leaving thousands in repairs unpaid.
I am a service advisor that has called and dealt with many warranty companies. I would even go as far to say most warranty companies.
But this one is garbage. First, I was just on hold for 40+ minutes to be answered with 'there's no one here to help you, try and call back another time.' That in itself is another level of bad that I wouldn't ever think could be reached. Second, I understand a lot of warranty companies will try and find a way to not cover things, but this one is the worst. They will take any excuse and just deny it without question.
They left the customer with thousands of dollars in repairs, which any other warranty would have covered.
Complete garbage. Do not waste time and money on these folks.
Preferred solution: Good service.
SCAM!!! STAY AWAY!!!
- - Reviewer calls the company a scam.
- - They claim you pay to disassemble parts to deny claims.
- - They warn against American Dream and criminal charges.
This company is a complete scam. They make you pay to disassemble broken parts only to deny your claim.
I spoke to an attorney and theyve never seen a worse service contract provider in 20 years of suing automotive warranty deceptive trade practice disputes. They are not even insured through my States business insurance commission. We are looking into criminal charges to be filed against them.
For God sakes no matter what, never ever sign up with American Dream! You have been warned!!!
