I am writing this letter because I have been taken advantage by an install company contracted by home depot. I had a floor installed 10 years ago...lifetime floor, the installation at the time was bad and ruined part of the floor.

Home depot worked with me and had what I had previously done paid to be fixed my the manufacture of the floor.

I was told one price to have the other room done and the hall way kitchen and dining room would be covered by them . Well the installers said they had to rip up the tiles under the planking floor which was suppose to be done the first time also this floor was the type that goes over anything.

The floor installers were stalled for 4 hours because the installers and I were waiting to hear what the outcome was.. They never told anything to me but they said they were told to start ripping up the floor. This is where the fun comes in.

190 square feet of tile 670 dollars to rip up, they said they would pay half then again leaving the floor which was done by the previous job 10 years ago,. The whole floor they were replacing cost $1,400 back then. Their cost to prep the floor was not up to $943 which I had no idea until they ripped up the floor and I was at their mercy. Keep in mind the flooring was paid by the manufacture.

I am not looking for a free ride here but an extra $943 to prep the floor is out of hand.

I was never told this amount before they ripped apart my floor. I am a senior and I have been taken advantage of. I am a senor and feel the installation company took advantage of me.

I am looking for them to cut that in 1/2 the bill for me which I already paid.

I have all the backup proof on this.

The installers were great and very nice. Lori was terrific from Home Depot it is ACS flooring that did this to me.
