Ambit is for real!

We are making $500 a week after being with the company only 4 months. We are working less than part time and are beginning to increase our time on the weekends. I'm hoping to leave my full time teaching job the end of this year so that I can spend my time making more than I can teaching. Our friends that have been in this business for one year are making well over $20,000 a month now. It really works! All you have to do is follow the lead and work with those that are successful. As far as customers with disconnect problems, talk with your incumbent. They are the ones that disconnect you for not paying your bills. Earning free energy is for real too. Yes, you won't get your free energy if someone doesn't pay their bill, changes companies, or moves, so just sign a few more customers and watch your free web site that you have with Ambit. Be an educated an assertive customer and you will save.

:) Admittedly, I was exceptionally sceptical to become involved with Ambit Energy for several primary reasons: 1) It was a MLM company 2) I am exceptionally busy and ; 3) So many people trashed the company on the internet.................Well, after doing true research and not paying attention to the blogs of a few disenchanted persons, I have had the opportunity to have a very good experience with Ambit. It takes a little work and I'm sure that the company is not perfect, but it has been a money maker for me and I can be certain that I am saving people money.

Obviously, when one considers the sole reason for the existence of this site, is to present negative "relevant" comments. I simply wanted to share my personal experience with Ambit. After delegating 4 persons to thoroughly study Ambit, I just wanted to express that since becoming involved with Ambit, I have had quite positive results. I specified that it is not " A get rich quick scheme", and does take a little work to generate income, but with persistence, one can truly do quite well with the company.

Is everything perfect? No......I do see problems with some of their promised vacations, but otherwise this is a viable company which enables people to save money on their power bills with no contracts, no "bait and switch tactics", etc. My purpose of this post is to see how quickly a positive post will take to be removed. This site provides great insight into its predetermined objective, which is to Search the country in order to find a small % of disenchanted customers.

Well, be sure to delete this post! You are educating many persons as to the sad state of this site..........LOL

Ambit energy gets new customers by luring them into travel scam.

I thought I was the only one who ran into endless circle getting the free travel promised while signing 1 year contract. You have to pay a substancial refundable deposit to grand incentives in advance with application in order to avail this opportunity. Then you go back and forth for months because they don't have any spot available in the places you chose and choosing different locations. Ultimately you give up and ask your deposit back and it takes grand incentives 3 months to give back your deposit. This is a total SCAM!!

Ambit energy shame on you for blaming it all on grand incentives and not taking responsibility for putting your customers into this situation. :(

We work with reps from these energy companies as well as many other business models, and have not had a problem. Its not an MLM scheme or scam because appointments4urbizdotinfo would not deal with anyone with deceptive practices.

Never late, Debit card stolen, lights turned off ENORMOUS charges

AMBIT ENERGY CUSTOMERS: IMPORTANT, please read! I had my debit card stolen last month and it was cancelled. Today Ambit turned off my electricity. I am an Ambit rep. They did not e-mail me, snail mail me or call my cell number. They called the house once and did not leave a message (agent told me they were not able to leave a message, but it counts as contacting me anyway). My original bill was: $65.39 I was charged: $15.64 disconnect fee $41.70 reconnect fee $125.00 deposit because my electricity had been turned off $2.50 to talk to a human being and $2.50 to pay bey credit card, for a TOTAL of: $252.73 for a $65.37 bill that was not paid because of a theft. I had NEVER missed a payment, I was never LATE with a payment. This was the FIRST and ONLY time the bill was not paid on time. They also know that I am a rep. RUN as fast as you can to cancel your Ambit account and get another provider before they *** too.

Isn't lying fun?? We couldn't shut off your service if we wanted to, and it sounds like we would've wanted to.

The only entity that has any control over shutting off your electric other than you is whoever your distributor is. Ambit is a supplier, not a distributor. You should probably figure out where the problem lies before trying to blame someone other than yourself. People who are considering Ambit for a provider, ask a normal customer what they think of us.

Ask someone who is getting their free energy credit every month and pays nothing for energy supply.

They have a great reputation.

My family member recommend I give them a try and it has been the best suggestion! Find out who really is taking advantage of you because its surely not Ambit!!!!!!!!@@

AMIGO Energy is my new provider, I have been with then for a few months and four monthly energy bills from them make one Ambit energy bill! I'm so happy I don't have to deal with them anymore!

On Jan 15, 2013 approximated around 12:30 PM my electric service was interrupted even thou I have made a payment and my next payment was schedule for Jan 24, 2013. I wasn’t aware of this situation until after 4:30 PM when I got out of work. When I got to my house I found my wife with my twin daughters (2years old) in a cold dark house, since the temperatures were in the 30 degrees. I immediately contacted Ambit Energy customer services to inquire why my service was interrupted since my payment wasn’t due until the 24th of Jan and I have made a payment of $125.00 to satisfy an $85.00 that I was overdue. The customer service insisted that I owed them money and that was why my service was interrupted and that I have to pay $272.69 to get my service back on line. I explained your customer service that I was looking at my account and that it shows that the money I sent in to satisfy the amount that it was overdue was already deposit into Ambit Energy via electronic funds transfer (EFT) that same date they have interrupted my service (see encl. with copy of my bank statement). Unfortunately, I couldn’t convince your customer service that a payment was made and that I was on current on my bill. She insisted for me to make the $272.69 payments which include a re-connection fee and a deposit. I explained her that I need then the $125.00 back because I have started a new job and I didn’t have spare money. I agree to pay this amount since my family (wife) couldn’t cook, the babies were cold and hungry and we didn’t want the food to spoil (milk for the babies). To my surprise, after I paid the money, I was told that my service reconnection could take up to 24 hours.

Bottom line, pay your bill to prevent problems. And its in your electric provider discretion to disconnect your service and not Ambit. Therefore, it's not an ambit's fault.

Ambit enegy does not pay

ambit says you can earn free enegy but then after you get the required accts the web site says you are not qualified because somebody did not pay on time !!! I own all accounts all were paid and continue to be paid . Calling in does not work the people are nice to talk to but unable to clear this up . I have talked to many people at the call center over two months with no success . also the price I pay for gas supply is higher then what my home supplier charges I do not trust them to follow through on the claim of being 1% lower after one year

Hi I am sorry your pissed at Ambit I have had free energy for 12 months and so has a lot of people in my team I have earned over $8,000 dollars with them in my first year. My energy bill went from $240.00 dollars a month on a (Budget so that was every month FOR 12 MONTHS.I saved around $1800.00 dollars my first year with Ambit IT WORKS)!!!!!!

to around $70- to$80 a month except 2 months in the winter my bill was $167 one month and the 2nd $179.00

I save a small fortune last year AMBIT has been a Huge blessing in my life.AlSO a blessing in some of my teams life.

to answer your question yes to electric you will save a few dollars in the year, but not much. No to gas it is too hard for anyone to beat national grid I would recommend to take the 2month guarantee savings then switch the gas back to national grid (nimo)

Okay, I think I see the Syracuse vs Hannibal thing. My reply to you showed up as Syracuse, but I'm actually about 25 miles outside of Syracuse.

I'm not necessarily accusing you of anything, it's just that I am considering Ambit and I've been doing my due dilligance by looking for both positve and negative reviews of the company.

I do appreciate any feedback, both positive and negative so I can make a more informed decision before pulling the trigger on this.

Just to be clear I own all accts and still do not have a check for free energy on a regular basis every once in a while I get a check and it does usually (but not always) clear . still have not been paid for the bounced check!!!

do not invest your time getting customers for them as they will tell you that your customers did not pay so they will not pay you and they will stonewall you when you try to find out who did not pay

I have been with Ambit for three months now and though I didn't hit all my jump start bonuses I did get one and received $100 shortly after I completed it. I know some people that have been with the company a year already and they are satisfied with the service. You are guaranteed savings. You have to work really hard to make money with them or receive free energy. Anything that is worth requires hard work and dedication. If anyone has questions about Ambit feel free to contact me. Ambit Energy Complaint by Plake1...

Yes, Ambit does offer FREE Energy to those who have REFERRED 15 gas and 15 electric customers to the service.

When you become a customer of Ambit, they give you a complimentary website for you to refer your friends & family to.

Now, in this economy, what do you think the chances are that maybe one or more people who you have referred, may pay their bill late?

Do you pay every bill before or by the due date? Well, if you do great! FYI - There are some folks who are struggling whether they should by food or keep the heat on.

This is why Ambit customers should refer 15 to 20 customers to their free website. Ambit will average all of the customers bills. As long as 15 have paid within the 30 day time frame, the customer will receive a credit on their bill or receive a check in the mail..

For you to say that you control all 15 bills and that they are all due on the SAME day, is pretty UNBELIEVABLE.

If you do not stay with Ambit as your energy provider for one year, then you will never know if you saved that 1% minimum or not.

Some people in TX are saving up to 30%!

Have you contacted your Ambit Energy Consultant that referred you? If you are having a true problem with your bill, then you should let your consultant do the work for you. If everything you are saying is true, then I'm sure that your problem would have had some resolution by now.

The pure fact that you are saying that you have 15 energy bills, all due on the same day is just UNBELIEVABLE.

Ambit Energy

I get Ambit Energy and they give me free hotel.I get on website and pick hotel for Atlantic City. I go to hotel in Atlantic City. Then I go to hotel in Atlantic City and meet hot blond. She has long legs and a tight body. She on vacation with Ambit too. We get married and now we use Ambit travel rewards to get free plane tickets to go on honeymoon. We also use money saved on electric to pay for honeymoon. Ambit is the best. Thank you. We going to have baby and call her Amby...lol. I hope to go on 25 year wedding anniversary with Ambit!!!

I am a customer of Ambits since 2007. The rate for electricity is average but their "Travel Rewards" are a joke.

In 2007 they had gas cards and grocery vouchers that looked nice. Those were taken away and they only kept the air fare and vacation packages. I called my travel agent and got a 1 week trip, including airfare, to Cozumel for $710 a person at an all inclusive 5 star resort. Ambits free airfare is only applicable if you stay at one of their selected hotels wich range upwards of $160 a night for a minimum of 7 days.

Their Cancun package, etc. doe not include airfare and is only at Grand Incentives hotels. These are not all inclusive and by the time fees, deposits, etc are appplied you've spent the same amount or more than I have just using a travel agent. Not to mention the dates are somewhere between September through February, you have to request 90 days ahead of time, etc.

What a joke!

Just bring back the REAL incentives like gas cards and grcery vouchers with no strings attached. I have 68,000 points with Ambit and they are good for nothing!

Ambit Energy ridiculuos bills

I being an Ambit Energy customer for seven months. They offered me a rate of +- 9.6 cents per kwh.

For last three months Im being charged and billed high amount of money for electric bill. Im paying a lot more that what I was paying with previous company at rate of 12 cents per kwh.They said I used the service and have to pay my bill. They could'nt provide me a reading date so I can verify the reading myself. It doesn't make sense.

It is not a reliable company. In 13 years never paid that.

The people who complain about Ambit Energy are usually the ones who don't pay their bill and just keep asking for an extension. Ambit does not disconnect someone if they're bill is 3 days late, you get a 5 day grace period before any late fees apply and plus you get about 10 days from the due date to pay your bill. Don't blame a company all because you decide to spend your money then to pay your *** electric bill.

I am an Ambit consultant. Ambit is not a scam but, before I say what I must say, I must tell you that I am NOT lazy and do NOT depend on others for my success.

Having said this, I was coaxed to join Ambit, paid my initiation fee, went to all weekly meetings and the very few meetings arranged by my mentor. I tried so hard and I tried my best to get customers for Ambit but could not make a go of it because: 1)the company has horrible Customer Service. And hear this folks, my electricity was disconnected on a Friday on a $39.00 overdue balance that was only 3 days late. Because Ambit was not opened during the weekend, my family and I had to stay at a hotel until Tuesday before our electricity was restored!!!

and I am a freaking consultant for the Ambit !!!2)if your mentor does not mentor, unless you are a marketing wiz, you will not make it in any business. Ambit is making a few persons A LOT OF MONEY, but a lot of us in the majority, have lost a lot of it.

It's obvious that all the complaints on this forum are from Ambit Energy's competitors! I have 40,000 customers,in my downline with Ambit, and NOT ONE has ever had problems! Ambit Energy has over 500,000 customers. And some people still think they are a scam! That makes me laught out loud! :grin :grin

I have an average electric bill of $8.07 every month.

I just paid a 300 dollar bill for a small three bedroom house. I've been with Ambit for six years.

I was moving out and my contract expired so instead of treating me like a loyal costumer, they charged me 15 cent per kilowatt. That is just wrong.

No reason to treat your costumer this way. I'm never going back

Ambit Energy is incompetent

I switched to Ambit Energy to save money on my electric bill and to make money promoting it as it is offered through multi level marketing. I put my residence and numerous investment homes on Ambit plus a boat load of friends and relatives. It cost $350 to become a rep and 1 year later I have not been paid a dime. Rates jumped 12.9 to 16.9, They cut off my service at home because the pymt was credited (repeatedly) to the wrong account. Food ruined, children were stuck in the cold, pets couldn't be attended to. Their admitted error, so i turned elect. back on myself. I then was fined for meter tampering??? They refuse to re-imburse I, my friends and family have all dropped Ambit.

The truth of the matter is that some of these so called complaints are coming from States that Ambit does not even service yet. There is NEVER a contract to sign and if you don't pay your bill Ambit does not shut you off it's your incumbant that will.

Most States it's illegal to shut off your power because you are late, they give you fair warnings ahead of time.. Ambit is a legitimate company that will guarantee you to save at least 1% every month.

The truth is this complaint above is from Texas, which Ambit Energy does service. There are contracts under Ambit for Texas.

Ambit will disconnect service through their electric supplier, but it is Ambit's call. It isn't illegal for them to cut someone's power in Texas.

They can always say they sent notices or tried to contact you, and you can spend time and much money trying to prove them wrong, or you can move service to another electric company, which I recommend. Unfortunately, corporations have more protections in place than individuals.

Well people most complaints are from people either late or not paying their bills b4 I got on ambit I got my electric turned off by my incumbent companyI had some problems paying my bill ,but it was my own fault . So if i am now with ambit and fall behind I should expect the same , I can't be mad , but, I am now getting $150.00 credit every month towards my bill cause I have 20 ,I only needed 15 to get my credit , but I got 20 just in case a couple don't pay there bill ,, but that only makes sense to me, I am finding every thing promised from ambit to be true I have also made back 1,200.00 and if I consider the energy credit of $150.00 per month I am extremely happy ,, swqueen@***.net

Ambit is continuously at the top in MLM. That also means that their consultants have ruined many of their relationships with friends and family that they deceived. When one is fooled and wants their money back, they start deceiving other people too. And this process repeats over and over again. Most of the consultants who does this will never admit it or else they can't scam more people.

It cost more to use Ambit . . . How come? Why? I can't figure out myself and I regreat beleiving my friend who convinced me to swith to their service. For me its nothing more than a scam to deceive consultant that they will be rich and to deceive users that they can save in their utility bills in long term.

Well, if the way to be earn extra dollar is to fool people then go ahead. Karma always happens . . .

i am not interested in the marketing aspect of it, i simply want to pay less for electricity. is there some source for real proven truth about ambit?
