Bought a sofa - Order AB00421802 1. Delivery - Logistic Provider DHL delivered downstairs. Sofa-Package is 100 kgs heavy. How do I put my sofa upstairs? This logistic conditions were not mentioned anywhere while buying. DHL replied that this is not because of the Corona Virus situation, but due to the logistic contract conditions between Ambiente Direct and DHL. 2. Sofa - Splitback Frej Package is devided in 3 Boxes. I received twice the same box, and I'm missing the box with the Rest arm support. I cannot assamble the sofa and I have doubled the sitting part. - No Answer from Customer Service since a week - They ask to send an email to open a case to solve the issue, they never find such email. - I had to pay 250 CHF Customs, I hope I won't have to pay again customs once they send the missing part of the sofa. If no answer, my company will report Ambiente Direct to the official customer complaint office of Germany. Unacceptable.

User's recommendation: Do not buy anything from here - Fraud.

ABD never sent me the return label and then charged my card without permission

I purchased the Medium Fontana table lamp and when it arrived, it was too small. So I asked to return it and therefore would need the returning label, and I got a response that I had permission to return it, but they didn't include the return label! So then they charged my card for the correct size, without refunding the first one. This company is unprofessional and fraudulent. They don't answer their phone. And they purposefully made it so you are responsible for returns because they know that you're going to have to return their product and they don't want to have to pay for their mistake. Their entire company is a mistake.

Ambientedirect

On June 22, 2008 I have placed an order for a Fuschia 3 lamp, for a total of Eur 432. According to Ambientedirect website, the lamp was supposed to be delivered within 2 or 3 days. The item I have received about a month later (not 3 days !) was broken and thus I returned it back to ambientedirect.de and asked to be refund or a replacement. Ever since, I haven't get any compensation or replacement. I would like to report this problem and alert possible buyers. Ambientedirect is not a good place to buy, do not use their website.

On March 27, 2008 I have placed an order with the online retailer www.ambientedirect.de for a stool (Gherry Ultra Cube, by Heller) for a total EUR 599.40 The item I have received about a month later was broken (as confirmed with photos on delivery) and thus I returned it back to ambientedirect.de as asked on my expense. Ever since, I tried to contact ambientedirect.de on many occasions without any result apart from a email I have received on May 30 2008, from ambientedirect.de claiming they were expecting some kind information from the manufacturer (aka HELLER, transferring responsibility to them), without any follow-up or any news whatsoever since then. I would like to report this retailer's behavior and complain.
