We booked a Christmas cruise on board Ambience on the 6th of January 2025. We were told this was an existing customer special price of £3248 for a sea view cabin.

Online, you are quoting a balcony cabin for £2309. Does this mean if we ask for an upgrade, we will get £941 return for being overcharged?

I am disgusted that you can at the last minute shatter our dreams and let other people sail instead of honouring your contract with us.

Not only have we paid for all the extra outgoings that a holiday demands you have not offered anything other than our money back which does not begin to be regarded as a reasonable reward for our dissatisfaction.

My husband has Parkinsons and dementia our insurance costs are enormous with no chance to accept a longer cruise and within hours the Brazil cruises were sold out.

His conditions are progressive so who knows if we can ever consider this holiday another year on.

Today customers are not considered,nor seems to us that fair play is a part of any business decisions.

Your company is in very low esteem with everyone who was expecting to have a great experience,as quoted in advertisements.

Instead we are home alone cooking shopping and feeling overwhelmed by our disappointment,when we thought we would be looked after and have some fun at this time in our life,late seventies.

I wish you all a very similar Christmas

But you probably dont have any remorse,its just so easy to say sorry and get on with taking other people for a ride

We were booked on a cruise for 5 weeks to the Caribbean.The sister ship is damaged and undergoing repairs.Ambassador cruises decided to bump us off our boat and take passengers due to sail on other cruises at the same time. The e mail to inform us arrived on Thursday lunchtime we should have sailed on Monday 11th,December as we live in Cornwall our journey would have started on the Saturday 9th.So no more than hours before.

Still very upset and cross for reasons already discussed. Thanks for your interest in our situation
