Absolutely appalling experience at Amathus Drinks Shoreditch I asked a simple question and was blatantly dismissed told to wait while the staff sat there juggling three phone calls and ignoring me like I didnt exist.
No eye contact, no apology, just pure rudeness and arrogance. It felt like I was an inconvenience for even walking in.
For a so-called premium store, the attitude was laughable.
I wouldnt spend a single penny here. Take your business somewhere youre actually treated like a customer not a nuisance.

God. Where do I even begin with Amathus Drinks? If I could leave zero stars, I would. Actually, Id like to bill them for the emotional damage caused by this disgraceful experience.
I placed an order through the Amathus Drinks website, expecting luxury, sophistication, and basic competence.
What I received was an utter joke. Not only did they send the completely wrong ordercheap, bottom-shelf nonsense I wouldnt pour at a student flat partybut the bottles arrived damaged, half of them leaking like a broken tap. The box looked as though it had been dragged through a hedge, backwards, by a blind courier on a moped.
This is supposed to be a premium drinks retailer? Please.
Ive had better service from a dodgy corner off-licence in Hackney at 2am. I wouldnt trust Amathus Drinks to deliver a cup of tea, let alone expensive alcohol for an important event.
Their so-called customer service? Non-existent. I emailed, phoned, even messaged on social media.
No urgency. No apology. No accountability. They made it painfully clear they couldnt care less.
They are as responsive as a broken corkscrew.
If youre searching for Amathus Drinks reviews, let this be your warning. Do not trust them with your money, your party, or your patience. This is, hands down, the worst online alcohol retailer in the UK. Total shambles.
