Refused to cancel order for out of stock item

I thought my experience with this company would be better, but it was not. I ordered an instrument from Alto music, and it was clearly listed in the advertisement that it was on order from the manufacturer, which meant to me that it could be ordered from them and sent to me because it was on stock. There was nothing indicating it was not in stock at the time. I placed the order thinking I would be getting it soon. I then was informed that actually was not in stock and was on back order with the merchant till Late May/June. So now I had financed a keyboard for $2000.00 I would not have access to for 2 months, and payments coming up. They had given me an amp and bag that they had thrown into the order and not charged because it was intended to be totally free. Also, Alto music credited me $1600 to my credit account, but $400 on the balance. I didn't want to pay for something I wasn't sure when I would receive. I attempted to cancel the order, but Alto Music refused and suddenly tried to charge me for a free gear bag and amp that was previously free. Don't order anything from their website unless you are willing to get a run-around.

User's recommendation: Make the item is in stock before you order from them, or order from another store.
