If you want to be called a liar and be told you would have to prove you were not a liar, is inconsiderate, uncaring and unprofessional take your pet to Alta Vista.
I contacted Alta Vista about my dog who was not using his back leg on December 30, 2022. The person with whom I spoke to said the next available appointment would be January 8th, 2023 and recommended I try to get his leg x-rayed and have them sent to Alta Vista.
I told her I would try but go ahead and make the appointment for the 8th and she said the only time available was 1:30 pm.
On the 8th at 1:30 pm we showed up at Alta Vista only to be told another person had that appointment and she could not find any information in their system about us. She went to the Vet and he refused to see us unless I had confirmation of the appointment and that they were not taking walk-ins.
The only thing I could prove was I called them on December 30, 2022.
That was not acceptable, therefore, I must be telling a lie and be considered a walk-in. No thought was given about my little dog whom had already waited 9 days.
Do not worry I will not make another appointment, but I will make sure I tell everyone on the Internet and to whom I meet about my experience with Alta Vista.
