Failed root canal, scam tactics
- - Root canal a year ago led to infection from remaining root material.

I got a root canal done here about a year ago. It has now become infected because of remaining root material, and their unwilling to even fix their mistake.
Not saying their a bad dentist, but my one experience here was bad. I hope whoever else goes here has better luck than I did.
I originally went in just to get my teeth looked at because my normal dentist office was closed due to a dentist having medical issues.
I was told I had a cavity that needed to get filled. They started working on the tooth, then told me that I actually needed a root canal. The root canal was started, then the woman working on it said she wasn't going to be able to finish today and that I was most likely going to be in pain until I came in to get it worked on again.
I told her that I wasn't ok with that, as I had initially only come in to get my teeth looked at and wasn't even experiencing pain with that tooth. So then the main dentist came in and said he would finish the root canal for her. Fast track forward several months, I noticed the tooth was getting more and more sensitive. Now it's been a year and the pain is almost unbearable.
And their unwilling to correct it! Which is fine, I'm not really sure that I'm comfortable ever having them work on my teeth again, and I will just go to my normal dentist to have it fixed.

Preferred solution: I think they should be investigated, honestly for scam practices. I don't think that tooth needed a root canal.
