Made several attempts for them to pick up my car. Now they are dinging my credit.

I have made several attempts to have Ally Financial to pick my car. I have yet to have the car picked up. They call me at least 6 times a day, AFTER i HAVE ALREADY MADE ARRANGEMENTS FOR THEM TO PICK UP THE CAR. I AM SO TIRED OF THE HARRASEMENT AT THIS PIONT. JUST PICK UP CAR!!!!!!!!!!!

I contacted Ally they mailed me one payment coupon not a coupon book as I requested ans said they were so sorry that they had stopped payment on two checks they sent me when I double paid my payment ,sorry that my bnak had charged me a 35.00 stop payment fee they had allowed me to to charged . The rep also said she was sorry i was not receiving my pyament coupon and I was having to pay a 4.00 fee to call in my payment she offered no resolution other than to say she was sorry.

Sent $75000 cashier's check to Ally for purchase of RV that Ally had title for. Heard agreement between the then owner and Ally rep the title was suppose to be sent to me. A week later I call Ally in attempt to determine if the whereabouts of the title and the rep refused to even state the title had been sent or not. Mad enough to take it to courtDonDD

Preferred solution: Change your process to add some sanity. MY check was cashed by your institution. MY name and address was given to send the title to by the account owner. YOUR rep said no problem. Now why can't your rep tell me its status???? Seriously...

Lost My Job/Waiting to Start New One and Ally Refuses to Allow Me to Defer 1 Payment

I bought/financed my car with Ally four months ago and PUT $7,000 DOWN at the time of purchase. I got laid off from my job 2 weeks ago and immediately called them to see if I could get a deferment (I'm 35 years old and I have NEVER missed or been late on a car note in my life). I explained my situation to them, told them I did not want to fall behind on my car note, and begged for a deferment so that I could stay afloat until I start my new job/receive my first paycheck, which would be 3-4 weeks from now. They refused to give me a deferment and offered me ZERO alternatives for assistance! I have 7K IN EQUITY IN MY VEHICLE and have never missed a payment and they COULD CARE LESS. I am a single mom and I need my car to start my new job so that I can pay my bills!! They are the most unsympathetic and heartless bank I have ever encountered in my life!!

Something isn't right, I have them and never had an issue. No one wants a default, I would call them again and explain.

No, I called 3 times and even demanded to speak to a manager. The "manager" said there was nothing they could do.

I was told I only had two options: 1) pay my car not late/within 14 days and incurred a late fee; 2) Pay it within 30 Days or they would report. I don't know what to do at this point! I contacted them as soon as I was laid off and even found a new job within 10 days!!

I just won't get my first paycheck for 3 weeks. Now my car note is 15 days late and I get 5 collection calls a day.

My checking account was compromised. Ally Auto will not listen and refuses to resolve the problem. I make my payments on line. I talked to a Manager Jolly. Sent her bank records and told her to call me. To straighten out the payment situation. I faxed it to 877-733-**** she never returned the call. This lack of Customer Service has caused a chain reaction that I havent been able to solve. One payment was returned. The other one went to the wrong account. How do I get my money?

User's recommendation: The Ally Auto Financial Call Center needs a complete Overhaul in Customer Service. They lie to customers. Never follow through and don’t resolve the problem.

Credit Report

We traded in a car back in May, and it's still showing as if it is an open account. This is keeping me from making a new purchase. I have already called them numerous times and get the run around each time. They also held on to our warranty check and gap check until the dealership got involved. Ridiculous, I wouldn't do business with them ever again!

I used to think Ally Bank was a good bank. I had high hopes for them until today. I made a mobile deposit on Saturday, April 24 and $300 of it was supposed to clear today, April 27, 2021. I spent a lot of time on the phone with a customer service person who assured me that their executive offices who were the only party who could remove the 5-day hold would call me today - they never did. When I had signed up for Zelle with Ally, I had made an error and they locked me out of my Zelle privileges until it was fixed and I was assured they'd call me within 2 business days. That was weeks ago - and finally their fraud department forbade me to use Zelle at all. I called customer service at 1:45 pm today and I was told they had no no new information. The customer service rep wasn't rude, but I have had it with Ally. They may be rated number one as an online bank, but I am not impressed.

I feel so overwhelmed. Ally has continuously called me and harassed me for payments that were already paid, no matter what i do it doesn't work this is the second time they have repossessed my car. I have called the Attorney General after trying to deal with this company since 2019. My first payment to Ally was made through the dealership after finalizing the deal with my 2016 Mazda Cx5. Ally called me and stated that I owed them $15.00. I called Romano mazda to tell them and they stated that they had sent them the money incorporated with the finalization of the sale which was the start of the harassment. Before the time my first payment was due I sent Ally a payment 3 weeks early because I am never late with my bills only to hear that 2 months later that my first payment was late and i was reported to the credit bureau. I spoke to a man that said he would fix it and never fixed it, then it happened a third time and they blamed it on my bank so i changed my bank. and Ally then told me to send those two payments to them by Western Union and I did.Only to hear 3 months later that they didn't get the payments after telling me where to send it and not accepting the confirmation number. I finally spoke to a person after being threatened again to repo my car that they had recieved the payments Next they sent 2 of my payments back to the bank and picked up my car. After calling them they apologized and paid for the storage for the car for 3 days. Again in March and April 2021 I was told that my November payment was due although I have receipts to prove they were paid. In these months I doubled the payments and they sent the payment back to the bank again which was 660 dollars and again my car has been repossessed! and when Attorney General sent them my complaintback.

Closed my accoint because I had sister have a check depoisted she didnt have account. So I keep getting same person on phone named zack and he keeps hanging up on me, says it's not my money, then fine send it back to company sent it. He says no it's not my money, like hes trying to keep it. They need send money back to where it was sent to, it's not theres . Everytime I call zack answers no matter what time of day I get him and he hangs up.please help.none

I would like to file a complaint with Ally Auto concerning the discrepancies in the payoff amount for my total loss vehicle. After my vehicle was totaled and paid in March, I reached out to Ally to discuss payment arrangements because I no longer had a vehicle and still owed approximately $6,000 on the auto loan.

I was offered to continue making monthly payments or I could pay off the loan in full at some point at a reduced rate of 75% of the total loan balance.

I was given a quote that day that expired 15 days later and was informed that I could continue making payments until I reached a lower settlement amount. I called back today to pay off the vehicle at a reduced amount and was transferred to the low balance department. One representative informed that Ally stopped doing reduced settlements May 1, 2021. Another representative told me that Ally stopped doing reduced settlements in March 2021.

However, I have spoken to Ally representatives in May that stated I could call back in June to do another settlement to payoff and close the account at a reduced rate.

I am extremely confused that Ally has never notified customers of these changes in reduced settlement changes and that they did not offer customers to settle total loss accounts before they decided to stop allowing reduced settlements.

Also, why are there so many discrepancies amongst customer service representatives that are rude, have poor customer service and extreme language barriers. We are still in a pandemic, and I would hope that banks would appreciate customers trying to settle their accounts instead of not paying at all during such difficult financial times.

Fraud

I needed to to get an exception to post pone payment due to surgery. Went online did all the paper work. I was good paid the $227 down that day to get the extension. Had surgery the day after I get a notification my bank account is over drawn...I call Ally they took the car payment also....they said oh you never cancelled auto pay.....what!!! I don't work there I assumed the system knew and it never mentioned cancel auto pay. It's ok just refund it right.....yeah no!! Now I'm in a dispute with the bank and have to wastaystasta 6 days to
