Just avoid Allstate Moving, LLC at all costs. These people are terrible, deceptive, unconcerned about your property and customer service.

They are incompetent and only an absolute fool would read this and still go and consider them. And if you do not want to read all of this I put together a 5 minute summary video about our experience with Allstate Moving, LLC. Please do a you tube or google video search for Allstate Moving LLC and it should be near the top.

On 11/18/20 I provide a detailed excel spreadsheet of all items to be transported by Allstate Moving. This spreadsheet clearly showed each item name, sizes, cubic feet and any special notes regarding transportation.

This estimate included moving an exercise bike and a 17cf upright freezer.

On 12/5/20 three Allstate Moving, LLC employees in a 26 Enterprise rental truck showed up 5 hours late. They did not have an inventory list - they did not even have the correct street address and had to call first.

Early on the foreman attempted to charge us a $75 outdoor stairs fees because there are a total of 8 steps to get into the house from the driveway. Then the foreman added two bulk fees onto the price. The exercise bike added $150 and the upright freezer added $75.

The foreman said it was because some items are larger than originally estimated . As mentioned earlier, Allstate Moving KNEW these items were to be transported even knew their exact dimensions - yet did not put these bulk fees in their estimate.

During transportation Allstate Moving, LLC movers failed to properly secure the 17ct upright freezer and it became loose. It toppled over and thoroughly destroyed both a TV console and the computer desk. I mean actually tore them in half.

The both were smashed beyond use or repair. The freezer, fortunately still functions but one side has been brutally marred and damaged.

The movers made notes on their paperwork of the destruction. They told me their manager would be contacting me in about a week but they could not give us his name or info because he does not like being bothered with work on the weekends.

When Allstate Moving, LLC was done with the move they carelessly left dozens of broken furniture pieces scattered across our driveway. These remains were from the two pieces of furniture they carelessly destroyed.

Included were some pieces of wood, nails, screws, plastic support pieces, metal locking nuts, metal shelf supports all were just sitting there in the driveway.

On 3/25/21 we received a settlement offer of $75 from Allstate Moving, LLC.

I had already provided evidence from the manufacturers that the TV console was 141lbs, the computer desk was 120lbs and the freezer was 151lbs. That is 412lbs or $247 they owed based on .60 per pound insurance math. Not to mention we never received the two destroyed items we paid $175.50 to ship. And then there is the shady surprise $225 bulk fee that was never quoted despite knowing these items (and their dimensions) were to be transported long beforehand.

Should you find yourself the victim of being a â customer of Allstate Moving, LLC I do have some suggestions.

1) Their policy allows up to $500 to be charged at booking with a credit card.

Maximize this amount so that after the move and they damage your property you can file a dispute or a charge back.

2) You have to deal with their 'insurance' carrier. See it through and be a pest.

3) As soon as your experience with the 'insurance' carrier is over file a BBB complaint. Then file a complaint with AMSA.

If your move was interstate then also file a complaint with FMCSA. If it was local then file a complaint with your state department of consumer protection.

4) Do not forget to leave reviews on Yelp, Google, home-advisor and other review sites too.

This company doubled the cost of my estimate - which I understand there could have been an increase if I miscalculated, but double the price?? Fine, I paid it.

They packed up the contents of my house with 3 movers, however when the van arrived to deliver our furniture, they sent just one man, forcing my husband who suffered from advanced liver disease and an inguinal hernia to have to help unload, as the driver kept saying he was behind and had to leave as soon as possible. When the driver backed up to get closer to the house, he backed into our car port, which pushed it into our home, damaging the vinyl siding as well as the car port. I immediately reported this and was told I could file a claim and they would pay damages. Needless to say, their insurance company denied the claim so I opened a complaint with the Transportation Arbitration Board, who ruled in my favor for $4,000.

The company agreed to abide by the decision, but did not pay me. I filed with the BBB, they responded they were just waiting to get an approval and the check would be sent in 7-10 days. I filed with the Attorney General in Washington State, I'm filing with the small claims court as well. I opened a complaint with FMCSA as well.

Companies like this continue to defraud consumers, yet no one takes action against them - the onus is on the consumer to invest enormous amounts of time and energy to fight for their own rights. It's disgraceful - but I have made it my mission to keep writing about this company and urge other innocent consumers to AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

This is my recent experience with All State Moving. I would NEVER recommend that company to anyone.

In the beginning the communication was good .

Calls and emails were returned promptly. After I made the deposit that all stopped the company was very unresponsive. I called cell phones provided to me , as well as company numbers that all worked before ,but this time just the message was playing how busy they are and short of staff. Countless voice mails left were never returned.

Emails replays we're telling me they are too busy due to staff shortage.

At the pick up I was up charged for no apparent reason . I tried to reach out to all state moving at that time but was unsuccessful. After the items were picked up I was able finally talk to the representative and they said they will investigate the issue. I emailed all the paper work they asked for, but never heard from them again.

Upon the item delivery all state moving company damaged almost everything!

Broken tables, beds, couches stained

They also lost lots of items.

Again I called after several attempts finally got through to be told I have to fill out insurance claim.

This was a long distance move and I can't stress this enough based on my experience I will tell everyone NOT to use All state moving. The company does not care about customers. They damage and lose your belongings. They will not communicate after the payment is made ( very responsive before you pay !

) At this point this experience was so bad that if they were the only company in business it would be better to throw everything away instead use them to transport items .

Read reviews other are telling you the same thing .I usually never write reviews but all state moving experience was so bad I had to warn everyone. Please look somewhere else for your piece of mind.

In April 2020, I contracted Allstate Moving LLC in Kennewick WA to--- move my household goods from California to Washington. When my goods were delivered, there were items damaged beyond repair and actual items missing from the delivery.

My own calculations for repair/replacement of these items was over $900. Their shoddy insurance reps offered me $85 on these items. Don't use this company unless you expect to receive no compensation for your lost or damaged goods, and expect to receive no feedback from them.

HORRIBLE COMPANY. If I could rate them lower than a zero, you can bet I would.
