Trash company that sells trash products! Buyer beware. They are incompetent too big to fail business run by crooks and liars.

Bought a Jeep top from this company. Didn't sell the hardware to install.
Looked everywhere, called and emailed every company I could think of. No one makes the hardware for this top. Why would you sell a top but not the hardware for it. When I asked to return the top because it is no use, it can't be installed on anything, they told me no because it was 10 days outside the return window.
It had only been 40 days since I bought the top. Still new, in the box.
Customer service is extremely poor! I would NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM THEM!!

Return Policy
Ordered wheels from this company. Had them in original packaging for 8 months while I tried to locate a company that would powder coat them to match my vehicle.
Couldnt get what I wanted so I decided to go ahead and install them without the additional color. Took the wheels to get mounted and it turns out that I had 5 lug wheels instead of the 6 lug my vehicle needed. I called to see about exchanging these and was told too bad. It had been too long.
Even though looking at their site they are still selling the exact wheels, but now for $60 MORE per wheel.
I understand you have a policy, and if this item was no longer offers for sale, but I can order the EXACT same wheels today at a marked up price.
I dont want a refund, I just want to make exchange for the correct wheels.
It seems these guys have gone from 2 guys selling parts out of their home to just another typical corporate machine with no concern for their customers. Another win for Wall Street and a loss for Main Street.

Complaint
Ordered a suit. Had my address wrong but I tracked it down to a Fedex site.
Wrong size so sent back. They received it but are terrible about resending the correct suit.
No sure how they stay in business.

Why lie?
So purchased a heavy duty LB7 return bolt. Came after a dry install to see fit.
I was ready to do the actual installation. Well that wasn’t the case as the bolt stripped out at around 5 ft lbs. Now the return line bolts must be torqued to 12 ft lbs or it will leak. So I called on Tuesday to start the return process, I sent them pictures of the issue and calibration prints for the torque wrench used to ensure it was calibrated properly.
Yea what a joke I had to call everyday which I was repeatedly told their warehouse is looking into it. I call bs if your warehouse is that slow you might need to get some new employees to work it. Well Friday I speak with Chris who states he will overnight my bolt so I can receive it on Saturday. I said great and end the call.
Problem is I recieved no tracking information and the status online says shipping pending. I have now had to get a rental car so I can work next week since I have had to miss three days already due to their awful customer service. But you know no one is going to reimburse me for my losses.
I work for a diesel performance shop but I will promise this to alligator performance WE WILL NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND YOU TO ANY OF OUR CUSTOMERS. Enjoy the loss of easy money idiots

After posting this review, I received a phone call and email message from Jason at Alligator Performance. He asked that I return the call so we could resolve the issue.
I was skeptical and doubted anything would come of it. It took a couple of weeks to connect due to my schedule. On May 15th I called and asked for Jason, once he got on the phone we discussed the situation as I saw it. He agreed that it was not handled properly on their end and would determine who is responsible and deal with it internally.
I agree with this management method. It is bad business to drag your employees thru the mud in front of a customer. Always bad results! Jason asked me to email the receipt for the tunes I had to purchase from White’s Diesel and assured me he would credit me for the tunes.
The next day it was taken care of. It’s not always what happens, it’s also what the vendor does about it.
If you have any issue with the service at Alligator Performance I hope you read this post and contact Jason for help. We are satisfied with the results thanks to Jason and have continued doing business with Alligator.
We ordered a SCT X4 with 2015 6.7 powerstroke tunes. We received 2011-**** tunes.
When I called about it, I was told that I would have to take it up with SCT and that they would not accept a return even though they put the wrong tunes on it. Furthermore, they said that SCT had software issues and not to use the tuner until SCT resolved the issues or my truck would not run and thousands of people are having the issue. I contacted SCT and they stated that that was false and are contacting the idiots at Alligator (lack of knowledge & service) Performance. Bought tunes from Nick at Whites in FL and all is good.
Alligator basically stole 750.00 from me. Avoid them, Liars and thieves.

Don’t do buisness with these people
Rude Customer service, the manager Holton will over talk and argue with you. The core return process is misleading. Overall I will tell everyone I know to stay away from crooked business like this one
Credit Card Fraud
Speaking with Holton at Alligator Performance who told me he would give me a discount if I placed my order over the phone with him, which was a lie. after I placed the order I viewed the parts on their website and it was $70 less.
I called them the following day and was issued a refund but that's when it gets interesting. 48 hours after I called and requested a refund someone in Houston TX went on a shopping spree using my card!!
I'm assuming they didn't like the fact I had requested a refund for the difference in pricing they tried to screw me out of so they passed along my card info (which I should of never have given them over the phone). Very screwy company and I would certainly not recommend.
Alligator Performance - Cst Control Arms Review from Cedarpines Park, California
Buyer beware. These guys are shady, Jason in particular.
I found some control arms on their website, and when I called to see if they were in stock, I was told, "oh, that price isn't right", "but your website says this price", "so". I went back to website, and price was changed to higher price. A week later, same arms were lowered back down in price. Will not be buying from them ever again.
Way better "honest" companies out there that would love your business. Shop wisely
Not an honest Diesel Aftermarket Parts Company, Lied and would not honor there own discounted prices.
Staff is extremely rude and arrogant. Especially Dalton and Tim.
Charges more then website list. When confronted, staff at Alligator denies prices and will call you ignorant customer. Will not honor there own discount offers. Extremely slow to respond and lack a professional demeanor.
Does not stand behind products they sale and are overpriced compared to their competitors.. Buyer Beware!
I wish more businesses would be honest and treat customers with respect.
They have failed on all attempts. I will never look there way again and seeing there complaint track record, I can see why others have stayed clear of them too..
Very deceptive company to do business with
On March 5th I called Alligator Performance based on their internet web site showing that a Transfer Flow Midship Replacement Tank for my truck was selling for $980.00. Directly below their picture in red lettering it showed “including shipping charges”. I gave their agent my credit card number and before finishing my order I ask him for the total price to confirm the charge would be $980.00. That was when I learned shipping was not included and I was going to be charged $1182.00. I told him their web site clearly showed the tank was $980 including charges. Their shipping charges was a deal breaker and not to complete the order. He told me it was too late he already submitted the order and I would have to wait until then next day to cancel it.
March 6th I called to confirm the order had been cancelled. After my call I received an email showing the order was cancelled with a credit back to my credit card but for only $1121.00. I have web site pictures show the tank cost $980.00 and apparently their agent pointed it out to someone because the very next day “the included shipping charges” was removed from their web site.
Currently I am still stuck with a fee of $61.00 because of their deceptive web site. As well as their agent failing to tell me what my total charges were going to be prior to submitting the order. Unacceptable business practices so be very careful dealing with this company.
Alligator Performance rip off
I would like to update my post, After posting here about Alligator Performance I recieved a Call and was told the person who treated me like *** is no longer working there and they have refunded my shipping charges. I dont want this post to reflect on everyone who works there, there was just a bad apple in the bunch, I am working with a guy there, who has been extremely helpful, and has assured me all my complaints and problems will be taken care of.
He has gone out of his way to help me, and thats what customer service is suppose to be like. So as of this point I am being taken care of and they are fixing my problems, furthermore I have been assured that customers wont be treated like this in the future, and never should have been to start with.
I would strongly suggest that anyone who deals with diesel performance parts to buy anywhere except Alligator performance. I just spent $1700 dollars with them and had some parts overnighted to get my truck running for the Fourth of July weekend and they totaly dropped the ball.
I had to call them time after time with the promise that I would get a call back, and I did not. To make a long story short, I did not get my parts when I was suppose to and it ruined my weekend since my truck could not run. I tried to cancell my order with them so I could get my parts some where else and they said they were going to charge me 10% even though I did not have my parts yet. I paid $77 dollars to overnight my parts which were not and they would not refund that as well.
They did not even try to make there mistake right in any way, they could have removed the shipping charge, let me cancell the order and get the parts I needed some where else, or done something to make a customer happy, but they did not. They knew my truck was down and I had to have these parts but obviously did not care.
This was the worst customer service I have ever had and I would not deal with this company again if they were the last company on earth. Just a word of advice to anyone out there, they will treat you great till they get your money, and then your on your own with any problems you have
