Tire Repair Review

I went in for a tire repair on my Toyota tundra. It's 3 weeks old. The greasy guy approached to sit in my truck and I asked if I can drive my own truck. After this he ignored me and refused my service. So I gave them the greasy hood ornament they left on my truck and left. What ever happened to the good old days when a customer meant something to a business

Poor work that led to serious repairs.

I own a 2010 Tundra 4x4. I needed to replace my front shocks and have the vehicle aligned. Next day, I notice black grease all over passenger front fender. They had busted the cv joint boot!!! I brought truck back in and was treated like the "bad" guy, but they replaced my once "factory" cv joint axle with a remanufactured cv axle. Well 2 weeks later I notice oil spot on my "new" concrete driveway. Guess what?! It's gear oil!! Gear oil is leaking from the cv joint axle and differential gear case joint, of the same side they "repaired". Guess what again?! I went over to discuss and I'm once again treated like the "bad" guy. Take it from me!!! Think twice before going to this location!!!

Ripped me off

My car was wearing the rear driverside tire out on the inside(fully independent rearend). I went to allied to get a full set of specific tires (they told me they had them no problem) and a full alignment. When the car came out it had a comepletely different brand tire than what I asked for. I asked them about the alignment they said every thing was in spec. I called the manager out to my car and showed him how the tires were wrong and the fact that you could clearly see light under the out side of the tire as it wasn't even touching the ground

Did not give me an honest price when I asked a specific question.

My wife brought my truck in to have tires put on at the Allied Tire Store in Broussard, LA. The salesman called me on the phone and told me my shocks on the front of the truck were bad and needed to be replaced. I asked him what was the price to change both. He told me it would be $139.00 parts and labor. I specifically asked him if it would be $139.00 total for both and he said yes. When the work was done my wife picked up the truck and payed the bill. When I got home from work that evening and looked at the bill there was a charge of $139.00 for each shock parts and labor. That is $278.00 for both. I checked at the local autoparts store and the same shock goes for $43.00 each. $139.00 is a bit much expecially when my truck was already on the rack with the tires off and easy access to get too. I feel like I was taked advantage of. The salesman never once told me that the prices for the shocks would be $139.00 for each shock. I am very dissapointed and will never go back to Allied Tire and I will tell everyone I know about my experience at Aliied. Very unhappy customer!

Allied tires has to be the worst place I have ever purchased tires for my car.

The worse tires ever on my car came from Allied Tire. Not only did they over inflate my tires when they put them on my car, they didn't balance the tires and they are just not a good match for my car. When you sell tires all day, and a customer tells you they want the same tires that is on the front of their vehicle, then you should know better. I will NEVER do business with this company again. Don't wait until the last minute, as I did, and be so desperate that you shop there. The customer service is good, because they want your money and your business. Don't be taken in by this, I certainly won't be.

Allied under inflates tires to cause wear

I have two vehicles that have to have the tires replaced pre-maturely because Allied under inflates the new tires when you purchase them. I take both vehicles to Allied for everything. When I realized the tires were not inflated properly & added air, I still had a shimmy. Thought it was the alignment, but found out it was the tires falling apart. Got new tires. Checked them immediately and they were under-inflated by 15-18 PSI. My 2nd car had a blow-out & we discovered the tires are under-inflated by 20-21 psi & all tires are bald despite being replaced 25,000 miles ago.

Inflation at tire installation is responsible for what happens to your tire for, oh, maybe the first week or so at the most. It is YOUR responsibility to see to it that your tires are properly inflated.

If you don't check pressure about once a week or so, then what happens to your tires is your fault. The tire company is not there to hold your hand for the rest of your life.

I'll bet you have complaints about numerous other businesses with which you have had experience as well. Grow up.
