Back in June I got a bill from Apria Healthcare for a CPAP UNIT. I can't use this unit, I can't fall asleep with the mask on.

I called my health insurance company, Allegience, and they told me the bill should have gone to Carecentrix, not me. According to the associate I talked to Catecentrix is supposed to pay the bill whether I use the unit or not. I got a text from Apria saying my bill has not been paid. I called Allegience again and was assured the bill was Carecentrix's responsibility, they would call Apria and take care of it.

July I got another bill.

Another call to Allegience "this should go to Carecentrix, I'll take care if it.

August, same thing. I keep getting harrassing text messages from Apria for a bill Allegience assures me is Carecentrix's responsibility.

Here we are in November. ANOTHER BILL. I called Allegience and now they claim the bill is MY responsibility.

This after telling me for the past six months it should be going to Carecentrix.

They have known all along I cannot use this unit, but they keep sending me a bill for monitering something they have known since March that IT IS NOT EVEN PLUGGED IN.

Now Allegience is telling me I have to call my doctor and have him get Apria to authorize me to send the unit back. I PAID FOR THIS UNIT IN FULL WHEN I GOT IT! IF I SEND IT BACK I EXPECT A FULL REFUND.

They have known I don't use this CPAP unit. They know I paid for it in full.

They know I can't use it. They know my doctor has been uncooperative regarding this unit. They have been telling me the Bill should be Carecentrix's responsibility, now they are telling me, after six months of continued billing and harrassing text messages from Apria, it is suddenly my responsibility because I am in "noncompliance".

I was ASSURED by Allegience the contract covered the billing even though I am in noncompliance.

As far as noncomplisnce goes, they have known for eight months I do not use this unit. They moniter it every day.

They see I don't use it. Why do they continue to bill me for something they KNOW I do not use.

Allegience has only made this matter worse. They assured me the bill was NOT my responsibility, they would take care of it.

I asked for a callback from a supervisor and NOTHING.

Stsy away from Allegience.

I get my insurance through work and had to change insurance because Allegience SCREWED me over assuring me I did not have to pay for this unit. They KNOW I can't use it.

Now I am being threatened for nonpayment.
