Dr. Alan Tucker and his staff are the best!

Been going there for over 20 years and they have always given my husband and I the best treatment ever! Now Davis Vision who handles the prescription end of getting our glasses is the worst! Even with that Nicole is an angel who always works things out! Those of you who have negative feelings, I am sorry your experience was not good, but I refer all my friends and family to him.

He cares about you as a person not just a patient and so does Nicole and now John who both have always treated us with respect and bend over backwards to give EXCELLENT service! Thank you Dr.

Tocker and staff! You're the best!!!

Allan Tocker - Unprofessional Staff

Dr. Allan Tocker employs 2 unprofessional staff members in his Woodmill office.

They never answer the phone, they act unprofessionally in the office in front of patients, and offer no help in resolving any ordering issues. I ordered glasses through this office, they never came in, and his staff did nothing about it. I demanded a refund - I had to get my insurance company involved. I wrote him a "confidential" letter, hoping he would realize how poorly-handled his front office is.

I did like him, but I will NEVER go back there. What an embarrassment to him.

DO NOT USE HIM.

Staff is great. May have been problems several years ago but now staff is tops.

I have all the same complaints. The office staff was so unprofessional during my LAST visit.

After leaving and getting madder I cancelled my order for glasses. I'll never return or recommend that office to anyone.

I would like to respond to "Unprofessional Staff" comments. Happy to announce the ENTIRE staff has been changed.

Staff issues were a problem. No longer.

New staff is helpful, courteous and respectful. Please give my office another try.

I had a very similiar situation. Dr.

Tocker was very nice and a good doctor. His staff at the desk however, are completely useless. I don't know why he keeps them.

Once, or I should say "if" I get my glasses. I'll never go there again

Poor phone service and attitude

I called upon office opening and requested a copy of prescription. She offered to fax "in a few minutes".

I called back an hour later and got another lady who took my info again and said she would fax. I called back 30 minutes later and one of the ladies answered and said she has been too busy helping customers and "it would happen sometime today" in a rather pissy voice. I then said I would have to drive out of my way to go and pick it up sooner.

TO MY SURPRISE, she did not offer any remedy like "I can get to it in 10 minutes or so". Does it really take that long to fax a prescription?

The staff is terrible. They gave Dr Tocker the wrong chart last time I was in.

I should have switched doctors then, but decided to give them another try. I called today for an emergency medical appointment. They said they were too busy to run my insurance so I would have to pay cash. Something doesn't sound right there.

The new office I found said it would only take 2 min to run the insurance. Are they lazy or stealing???????

I have just made an appiontmtnet with Dr. Tocker because I heard he was very nice and good.

The staff answered all my questions (and there were many). They were very helpful to me.

Staff member called me a "dirty little ***"

I have been a patient of this office for several years, however, ever since the location moved into Woodmill the enviroment has drastically changed.

The front desk staff of this location is INCREDIBLY unprofessional one girl even used " motherf***er" while I was there. The front desk mis-ordered my glasses twice, therefore I wanted to go else where. When I called the office to resolve the financial end of the situation I was told I "wan't getting *** So if your a fan of GOD-AWFUL service then Dr.Tocker's for you!! I fervently discourage anyone from going there, not only is the customer service appalling, my prescription was incorrect TWICE.

Tocker, but unfortunately the staff was the pits! Never seemed like they knew which end was up! It's a shame because Dr.

Tocker may have lost many patients due to their lack of good customer service. :roll

I AM A LONG TIME PATIENT OF THE DOCTORS AND GET TREATED LIKE GOLD EVERY TIME I GO IN THE OFFICE OR SPEAK TO ANYONE ON THE PHONE. I DISAGREE WITH ANYONE WHO HAS ANYTHING BAD TO SAY ABOUT HIS PRACTICE BECAUSE THEY HAVE ALWAYS BENT OVER BACKWARDS FOR ALL THEIR PATIENTS.

Dr Tocker

Dr Tocker is fine for glasses and monovision contacts.

However, if you can't adjust to monovision then it's up to you to start suggesting alternatives.

Knows little about any other kinds of contacts, such as multifocal.

If you're going to get contacts for the first time you may be happy with monovision.

I left with the same 'out of focus' contact prescription I went in with.

Staff is helpful. Office in congested area on Rt 2 in Delaware.

Dr is amiable. Good selection of glasses.

Didn't feel like I'd go back for a contacts prescription, but ok for glasses.

I am confident that I can fit anyone with contact lenses. Have been a national lecturer and author on contact lens related issues.

The best there is. Always pleased.

I have been going to Dr. Tocker for over 20 years and he is the best.

He always listens, solves my every problem and explains everything in detail. i was unable to wear contacts and now I can thanks to Dr. Tocker. My previous doctor told me I could not wear contacts because I had astigmatism.

i went to another doctor who told me the same thing. Dr. Tocker gave me contacts that are perfect and for the first time i can see without my glasses. More important, the doctor's staff was wonderful and easy to talk to.

I have sent my entire family to Dr.

Tocker including relatives and friends.

I cannot imagine anyone being unhappy with Dr. Tocker, but I guess some people are never happy with anything.

Dr. Tocker and his staff saved me from my glasses.

Before I went to Dr. Tocker has had to wear really thick glasses.

Other eye doctors tried to give me contacts but they never worked and were uncomfortablt and expensive. When I went to Dr. Tocker's office they treated me really well. Dr,

Tocker told me that I could wear contacts and that he felt confident I would be happy.

I told him that other doctors have tried also, but he told me not to worry. I liked how he made me feel like the most important patient he ever had. He gave a new type of lens right away. I used to have to wait a few weeks to get the lenses.

The lenses felt great and I could see too. Finally I could give up my glasses. The pissed of complaint that I read is totally wrong about Dr.

Tocker.

Had great experience

Have been using Dr. Tocker and Staff for 20 years.

No other doctor cares the way he does. They always go out of their way to make sure i am happy. They have also succeeded where other doctors have failed. They would never make a patient unhappy, but i guess some people are never happy.

Complaint must have come from someone who just hates everything. Or else they think everything should be free. The unhappy customer complained about having to pay after her pupils are dilated. She should take some responsibility and not blame everyone else in the office.

Ignore the pissed customer compaint and trust me, Dr.

Tocker is awesome.
