They were not even in business in Sept of 2005. Might want to check the validity of the anonymous consumer.
David Allan Phillips New Braunfels Texas and Owner of APR Power LLC (Allan Phillips Racing)
- Fakes his name, claims Alan but is David.
- Lied about products, took money, and did not finish.
- Volatile, combative, a bully focused on money.
First, the guy is just a strange duck and mean to the core. He often fakes his name by telling people he is Alan when his name is David. Not sure if he has multiple personalities and each persona has a name or what the heck.
He lied to me about having products that he didn't and took money and did not do the job. This is deceptive in business and unethical based in my experience and with what happened.
He is highly volatile and combative when questioned and came across as a big bully that was money hungry and didn't care about the product he is selling or the quality. Bottomline is the guy has no business being in business and should go work for a company or retire as he has no skills to deal with people in good ways and he is clueless about running a real business.
If you read the Toyota forums there are complaints about his business practices and how he screwed people out of engines, product and screwed over business partners and vendors. He would not donate to industry events which is just good marketing because if you want to do business with Toyota consumers you need to give back and say thank you. As a result, the community rallied to other companies and disengaged from David Allan Phillips.
He worked for Toyota Racing Development and people in the forums know people that worked with him and that he had a bad reputation there as being combative, hard to deal with, issues with communication and just plain old mean which seems to fit with how he has run his company and how he has handled customer service.
- Poor customer service
- David a phillips tells people different names
- Bad business practices
