All Size Tires inept and lost my wheel center decal
I went to this business All Size Tires at 24 Moreland Ave, Atlanta 30316. The reason was to balance my tires, which is a very basic job in the industry. The "tech" there proved to be completely incompetent. When he removed my wheel he noticed I had a nail in my tire and I asked him to patch it. The man had no idea how to remove my tire or how to operate the hydrolic machine that does so. It was nearly 3 in the afternoon and he had to call the other shop to ask how, and I heard him say, "I finally got a customer and I can't get the machine to work!" Anyway, he proceeded to take in excess of 30 minutes to remove my tire, apply a patch, and get the tire back on. A 5-7 min. job typically, and meanwhile was tearig up the rim of the tire. Anyway, then he balanced my wheels although gave me no faith he knew how to use that machine either, and then he put my wheels back on my car. I paid him and left only to find a couple days later the center emblem for one of the wheels was missing. It's just a decorative piece, but nevertheless, very noticable when missing. To get to the point, the shop didn't have it, so I contacted the boss of the shop, a Mr. Harvey, and left 3 messages. Each time the, the person taking the message could not find the last one I left and needless to say, I never heard from Mr. Harvey. Do not give this man your business! His other location is at 1199 Memorial Dr, Atlanta, GA 30316. And this Mr. Harvey is never at either of them.
You should always use the proper size tire but when an older car size is no longer produced, this might help. ... All Dimensions Are Approximate - Street Tire Sizes ...
