All American Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Odessa
Complaint on Odessa, Tx office
Yesterday 12/20/18 approximately 330pm. I stopped at All American Dodge because my hood to my wrangler jeep was slightly opening when driving.
I had already spoken with Jason Eithraton he started we can look at it for you. But if its a major problem we will have to make an appointment. As I took my Vehicle into the service dept. A man approached me stating he was Jason.
He then pulled the side latche on the left side of the hood and it tore off. He right away started saying it was already broken. He then continued to check the right latch when he notices it was placed backwards as was the left side. I told him, my Vehicle was serviced in EL Paso so they must have not placed the latches correctly.
Then another man (manager) i didn't catch his name looks at me and said she carries a gun do what she needs in a joking manner( i was wearing my police gear)he then begans to criticize about me buying my Vehicle in El Paso and maybe i shouldn't be taken it for service there if they don't know what they are doing. I said well i guess i shouldn't come here either if your going to treat me this way because i didn't buy my Vehicle here. Shortly after i was told by Jason they did not have my part so he would order it and my part should arrive tomorrow and they would install it. I would receive a phone call in the morning.
Of course i left from there very upset and i posted a comment on my Facebook page.
Today 12/21/18 i still had not received a phone call from All American so i called at 1145 am. I transferred to Jason. I told him who i was and if they had the part. He stated well I'll see if its in, plus it doesn't help that you posted on facebook.
I said excuse me. That's not what i called for. So he placed me on hold. (Not knowing i had already spoke with parts department they said the part was in).
Jason gets on the phone and said well they are looking. He kept me on hold for 15minutes. They said oh yes its in, but now we don't have a technician available. I told him am i able to pick up the part because i can get it fixed. He said yes but you will have to pay for it.
I told him my Vehicle was still under warranty which they had stated yesterday it would be free. I then asked to speak with a manager which he stated all managers have left. He transferred me to a voicemail for Rocky Barnes. Jason then called back stated I transferred you to the wrong number.
I told him do u have another manager who over Rocky. He said Chris Low but he is also gone.
I informed him i would be contacting corporate,Minutes after hanging up without an appointment or as how long before know who and when my Vehicle would be fixed. Jason called back to let me know they now had a technician available.
Extended Warranty Agreement
I need verification of refund for an extended service warranty that was cancelled because the vehicle is deemed a total loss. Gap coverage needs this verification to proceed with the claim.
This has been an ongoing issue since March 27th.
I need a resolution. Please contact me at (432)272-****.
Service Manager and team
my check engine light came on so I took it to the jeep dealership here in San Angelo and I was told that I had a fuel exhaust system leak and so thinking that my jeep was still under warranty I allowed them to work on it. A few days later I got a call from the dealership saying that the reason my engine light was on was because a rodent had gotten under my hood and chewed through one of my lines.
Living in the country my whole life I could understand that but when I live next to the loop in an apartment complex I find this a little hard to believe. they told me it was gonna be close to 400 dollars to fix so I allowed them to fix it. when I go to pick up my jeep, Thomas the guy handling it gave me the "chewed" piece on my engine and it clearly wasn't chewed up. Nobody could explain to me what happened to my engine and nothing was making sense.
Then the service manager walked out and asked me how everything was going. not being to happy I asked him to talk to me in his office. when we got into his office he couldn't explain to me what had happened and said that if it was a manufacturing problem then he would have sent off the part to have it investigated but he didn't. then he told me that he gave me a vehicle to drive while mine was being worked on to make sure I was happy.
Im not a sales persom but im pretty sure that's what your supposed to do for your customers. After all this has happened im very disappointed in the way things where handled and how I was talked to.
I will NEVER be returning to the All American Jeep dealership in San Angelo because they are very unprofessional and disrespectful.

Preferred solution: Full refund
I bought anew Ram 1500 I was told one price and mthey raised the price on me
I bought a new Ram 1500 pick-up .The salesman and I came to a set price and payments . I sign the papers and took delivery of the pick-up.
Then i got a call to come back in and tald a bout the financing.
so I went and whhen I got the the finance manager told that the he could get to companies to finance the pick-up . the pice of the truck had gone up and the payments also. I did not agree on this price but im had already put about 200miles on the pick-up. I tough that sence I had the miles on the truck.
I had no way out.
I don't think this was right and i a very mad about this. I dont know what to do.
Terrible Customer Service
All American Chry-Jeep in Midland Texas gives lousy service. Was told a week ago to bring car in for recall at 8 am this morning and called several times all day long and could never talk to service but was told to leave a message and they would get back to me but they never do.
This is several times that this has happened. Once you buy the car, they couldn't care less if they satisfy you. I had to go through management to get to service a couple of minutes ago and it is almost 5 PM. Was told that car was in being worked on now and it's almost closing time.
Why make an appointment and bring car in at 8 AM if they are not working on it till almost closing time. I am very unhappy with the service at all American.

I have made the mistake three on buying a car from All American. Every time I have felt like I was ripped off!
Gave nothing on a trade-in, not near what the car was worth. Second the price did go up, third their service department sucks big time over a month behind in servicing cars, rude service department personal. They say the will do one thing and not do it. I had a car the has been serviced for the same thing twice and they do not know how to service a car, truck or van!
They told me to go elsewhere when I got upset after dealing with the service department several times, I went in with mean streak.
If you are thinking of buying or getting a auto here, for Pete's sake run the other way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cry
I was threatened after buying a brand new 2013 **** Ram, They messed up the paperwork 4 days after buying the truck the salesman that sold me the truck kept calling me asking for the color of the truck the vin number etc etc. I was at work for 14 days couldn't really respond or answer calls.
So the texts and voicemails started, that if I didn't come in to sign new contract they were going to come and pick up the truck. On days off I went in and returned the truck, I demanded my money back and my lil trade in. They had sold the trade in and gave me a 2010 truck and started to draw papers on it I told them I didn't like it or want it. The drew a borrowed vehicle agreement, after many calls for me to tell them where i was so they could send a driver for me to sign the contract on this borrowed truck, and me telling them no they started threatening me about the tracking devices on the truck and that soon I would get a visit because they had reported the truck stolen.
This before they said sign the contract keep the truck for 6 months and then we'll take it in as a trade in for a brand new truck.
On days off I returned the truck, they said I put 2000+ miles on the borrowed truck and that I was to be charged $0.20 a mile returning me $476.00 of my $1000 dollar downpayment and my lil trade in had been sold, this was Monday 5-16- ****. Still looking for lawyer/attorney.
Don't worry, same thing happened to me at a dealership in LongBeach, CA. Tolvibman is right, you are in control!
If they can't finance you at the price they agreed on give them back their truck...now that it has miles on it the price has depreciated greatly so they're taking a loss. By the time I gave the brand new Jeep Patriot they couldn't finance me for back it had $3000 miles on it, they couldn't sell it as new only used. they also had to give me back my trade-in which was detailed amazingly!
DON'T PAY THEM A DIME EXTRA, IT'S THEIR FINANCE MANAGER'S FAULT NOT YOURS! And if they try to make you pay after you give back the truck tell them they'll be "hearing from your lawyer".
Sounds like the dealer is running the clasic Spot Delivery Scam on you. Be very careful here, if you do bring back the vehicle make sure you get something in writing that the loan was not issued.
Dealerships use this scam to increase their profit margins and because they think you don't know any better.
If you still want the vehicle, get your financing from your credit union and buy it. IMO, I would buy from someone else and not reward any dealership get the reward for trying to scam you out of extra money.
My friend you are in the drivers seat. Anything over 150-200 miles on a vehicle and the government considers it a "used vehicle".
Sticking the dealership with this truck now would cost them dearly. You don't have to have the dealership finance the vehicle. Go to your credit union and tell the finance manager to pi$$ off. If they don't want to abide by the original contract, inform them in writing that they are in breech and drop the truck off.
Surely you would have put some more miles on it by then huh? This will further decrease the value of the truck.
I have no sympathies for these types of scam artists. Of course you have kept all your paperwork right?
