These People are Greedy Crooks!!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Rear-end collision with underinsured driver.
  • - Ambulance bill 1800; insurers paid parts.
  • - Faced small-claims summons for 200; paid all costs.

My wife and 1 year old daughter hit from behind, driver under insured. 5 Minute ride to hospital, ALERT charged me $1800 ($900 + $900) even though my daughter sat on wifes lap in ambulance.

Drivers insurance paid a small part, my auto insurance paid another portion, my personal insurance had a claim too, they STILL came after me personally for $200 and filed small claims summons, had to pay everything plus court costs, you're better off walking to the hospital than being in debt with these crooks. What goes around comes around hope they go under.

Low life’s

AI Highlights
  • - They filed for $77 against my terminally ill husband.
  • - I believe it would have been covered by insurance.
  • - I won't pay more than $77.

They filed court papers against my terminally ill husband for a lousy $77 which I’m certain was or would have been covered in full by our insurance. I refuse to pay more than the $77 if that’s even owed. They can take their filing fees and shove them up their *** Who puts someone terminal in court for $77.

Be Aware Of Alert Ambulance Services

AI Highlights
  • - Alert Ambulance sued me for $3,000.
  • - A social worker arranged transport; costs weren't explained.
  • - I couldn't attend court due to illness.

I can't believe that a service will sue a sick person and rip them off over $3,000 dollars. I am writing this because I do not want another patient to suffer like I did.

Alert Ambulance sued me and took me to court . However, I was unable to go because I am unable to walk or speak for myself. I very ill and it were life of death if I did 't transfer to another hospital. The physician told me that the social worker will make the arrangement with their ambulance service and she will take care everything.

Social worker did make the arrangement and she did not tell me how much it would cost if medicare refused to pay, and I would have to pay for it. 5mo. later I received a certified letter from Alert Ambulance Services taking me to court. I called and spoked with the social worker and she was flying off the rails and very nasty, as to say how dare you call me!!!

And put the Blame on me. I called Alert and they told me I was transferred out of their hospitals to another group of medical facility. Alert Ambulance Services will take you to court and rip you off I will never use them again and I will not let the social worker make arrangement for me without knowing how much they charge. This is unfair practice and I noticed that Alert Ambulance Service took me to court, and 30 other people were their too.

The week after that were another 20.

This is a shame how they taking poor sick patients to court /money the money they do not have. My poor husband need a wheelchair platform to be able go to therapy and we stuck with this bill.

  • - Stroke with aphasia required RN transfer.
  • - Court demanded $2,971; insurer paid; ambulance told them not to pay.

ELDERLY ABUSE ALERT AMBULANCE IS THE BIGGEST SCAM ON EARTH AND THEY TELL LIES. MY HUSBND HAD A STROKE/APHASE.

I received a letter in July 2017 from the Small claim to appear in court of pay $2,971 because Medicare ,Horizon Blue/Cross/Blue Shield,Of NJ did not pay the bill.? I called my insurances and I was told they had paid the bill and Alert ambulance service sent them a letter telling them not to pay the bill and they took the money back????

They have figured out if they sue the poor patients they will get more money out of them. It time to take them to court/Class Action Are their anyone want to see them pay???

Alert Ambulance is the biggest rith of in the world. They sueds my stroke aphasic housband and took me to court.I could not believe all of the sick people that was their because of Alert Ambulanc Services.

I did not want to sit in court all day and I decided to speak with clarks I owe $2,780, decided to just pay 40.00 a month until I could appeal the case. 3rd appeal I spoked with a judge and I informed him what had happen. He told me do not pay them anymore money..They are suppose to wait for all of the appeal is over. I warn the appeal . Medicare paid them monies and Alert told me they would give my money back I paid.

They lied. They still owe me $77.00. Do Not use them service is bad , they lie, and do not give a dam. They robing the sick/disable people every day.

They will get what coming to them.

They need to go to jail. for stealing people money.

Expensive rip-off

AI Highlights
  • - Nearly $900 for two 15-minute ambulance rides; bills arrive.
  • - They mishandled a spinal-injury patient and threaten lawsuits if unpaid.

Nearly nine hundred dollars for a pair of fifteen minute rides. It's not just confined to this particular company either, it's all of them.

A patient who has absolutely no other option is passed off onto these ambulance companies and the "social workers" tell you "it's covered". Then the bills start coming. While I'm not suggesting they shouldn't make money, the fees are outrageous given what they actually do. In my case they were handling a patient with a serious spinal injury and they were lugging the patient around like a bag of garbage, just trying to get finished as quickly as possible.

Then when they don't get paid right away they become aggressive, threatening to sue. It's just another way the medical profession exploits the ill for easy cash and it's nothing short of sickening.

Patient transported without oxygen although oxygen was ordered

AI Highlights
  • - Transported my father to rehab without oxygen despite an oxygen order.
  • - I complained; they claimed the order was for oxygen and apologized.

This company transported my father from the hospital to a rehab facility without oxygen, despite the order being called in with oxygen. I was there when he departed the hospital and when he arrived at the rehab (I drive faster than them, obviously).

When I saw he had no oxygen on, I called their office to complain. They checked and said it was ordered with oxygen and that they were sorry. I left a voicemail for their head of business development and then sent an email to him and the president of their company. I got no reply back so I resent it.

Then I got a note from someone else saying he did reply last week (a lie, my IT department checked their servers) and claimed the orders said my father "may need" oxygen (a lie) and that the nurses told him my father had not been on oxygen all day before being transported (another lie since I was there all day). They were negligent and then lied to cover their mistake.

My father is fortunately OK, but others may not be so lucky. I would never use them again and will be filing a complaint anywhere and everywhere I can about their ineptitude.
